Sorry for double post, but I also wanted to say the Butt Stallion weapon skin (from Season Pass) is perfection. I may never use another one, its pink, purple, covered in glitter and is altogether fabulous.

Other types that have a multiple projectile primary fire can ragdoll as well. The Buttplug pistol counts as both pistol and shotgun for challenges in the game (gonna assume all Maggie archetypes do as well) and will knock any normal sized enemy on their keister.

Ooooooo...I'm definitely going to try that Godhands build on Amara. Multiple mook phasefist, elemental damage on weapons, and anyone hit with a DoT makes an elemental explosion, yes please.

When I got my first masher I audibly cheered. Also hunter shotguns are back and better than ever! Rag dolling fools is always a fun time.
What I appreciate is the pseudo level scaling means I'm always challenged even when I over level an area (I'm currently I want to say 32 on planet 4, I've seen people like 10 levels below that same area).
Also planet 4 is easily the biggest planet by far.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

I have been playing something very similar (level 28 now). I use the grabby fist that transfers to another target after the first dies, though. it often let's you clear an entire room/wave, CCing each monster in turn. It combos amazingly with a talent they skip which I think is insane: Dread (killing a grasped target reloads your weapon (this applies to your party as well)). Its insane they dont take this because it also increases your gun damage by 15%!
I’m absolutely loving this game so far. My favorite gun is an atlas pistol. Whoever designed the atlas line is obviously a fan of The Fifth Element. My only complaint so far is Moze gasping for breath after sprinting just a few feet and making weird porn noises when getting damaged.
So, I've only had a couple hours to play, but I found a Skin for Zane called "Sure, Why Not?"
It's animated..
It's got Pizza..
It's got Space..
and it's got Cats.. https://imgur.com/a/LUKpUYo

Naw man, I think I already won BL3 with the "Sure, Why Not?" skin. Pink/purple shifting space nebula with floating kittens.
I stupidly opened like all my mail which filled my inventory up with stuff I want to hold on to.
Have to get off Pandora.
Sorry, I meant in terms of time/level.
I feel like I spent about 4 maybe 5 hours on Pandora, but that was because I tried to do as much as possible at the moment. If you beeline The Holy Broadcast Center you can do it very quickly, maybe two hours?
Recently got this smg and dear lord it just MELTS everything. Full auto lasering goodness.
Can you explain to me the damage on that? I’m only level 13 currently, but most of my guns do more than the listed damage for that one and I’m yet to use any Maliwan stuff because they seem so weak. How does elemental damage work? I was assuming that the listed elemental damage per sec was if the effect procs it then does that per tick, but is that actually per shot with a percent chance of the proc? That would make them more in-line with other guns. Or does it not matter because the elemental damage is just as strong as it’s always been in practice?
It fires so fast you're pretty much guaranteed proc, also it causes a cloud of toxic gas where you are hitting doing even more damage. As for the numbers, I am not a maths nerd, probably have to look on Reddit or BL forums for more in depth.
Yeah I went full brawl to start and now I'm putting in the red tree whatever that one is called (so my gun shots have my action element currently). Amara's blitz punch is pretty nice it closes the distance well, and outright deletes smaller enemies and hits a big chunk on lower ones. Now of course this is all playthrough 1, god knows if that'll hold true for p2.
I've actually found the length of boss fights fun, but I think that's being able to stay up and full of bullets for the fights which is a major improvement over bl2.
Character guides online for Amara only are pretty bad, almost all of them paint her as exclusively a melee brawler and I’m like uhhhh... not in Fist of the Elements she ain’t.

I'm not using any guide, I just chose talents that seemed fun and fit my playstyle, aside from one royal range only of a boss it's worked out quite well.

The thing to understand about Maliwan is that it's all about the elemental damage attached to it. As such they typically (Legendaries get a little weird obviously) have the highest proc rate and highest damage per tick, but that comes with the trade-off of less raw damage. Maliwan as a manufacturer really wants you to play the rock/paper/scissors game to get the most out of their weapons.
I definitely like how side missions aren't just one and done "kill 15 guys turn in". Sometimes its almost hard to know a side mission versus a main one really.

It's especially egregious since it comes out of nowhere and feels totally unearned unlike Roland. Add on top of that that literally if the kid hadn't been there, there'd be no need for dueling hostages.
One thing I absolutely adore so far about BL3 compared to 2 or pre-sequel is that they are absolutely not afraid to throw orange items at you, now. I've gotten like 12 weapons, 2 shields, a class mod and a grenade. I think in BL2 I maybe got 2 or 3, total, by level 40.

Thanks.
Bioshock?
It is pretty good!
That reminds me of The Hive from BL2. Not the actual functionality, which is completely different, but the whole beehive thing.
I always loved all the crazy guns that this game had. Wasn't there a BL/BL2 gun that kept saying weird gibberish-y nonsense while you had it out?
Several, you had the Morningstar, Boganella, the Commander Lilith DLC brought in the Hot Mama, etc...

I'm sure they will patch out all of the performance issues, maybe they had to rush it out before Pitchfork did something else completely stupid.
