    I said I wasn't going to get my hopes up but here I am, hoping with all my might that this isn't just another nothingburger.

    I like the timing of this announcement too; right at the last minute so that there's absolutely fucking zero time for the administration to start pre-emptively covering their asses.

    I'm hoping it will prove just how little money he actually has, just because he loves his image of being a successful businessman.

    I don't hold out a lot of hope that this will prove any sort of Russia connection.

    I haven't watched Maddow in years, but that's just because I watch live TV very rarely. She earned a high opinion from me when I did watch, so hopefully this is real and worthwhile.

    Pretty sure several experts have said they doubt Russia will be spelled out in his taxes even if he is super guilty of it. But hey, who knows. I'd love it if he's only worth a few mill

    All we know for sure at this point is that there is definitely something in there that he really really doesn't want people to see. I'll be a little disappointed if its just "he's not as rich as he says he is", although that alone would drive him nuts.

    I think we're likely to see a tweetstorm of unprecedented magnitude tonight.

    Why that year is my question. If it was leaked would there not be a reason?
    It's either got something and was leaked by someone trying to expose it or it has nothing at all weird in it and it was leaked to support trump.

    You guys are probably right, nothing much is going to show up in the 2005 taxes. But this could pull at a few other strings that are out there, maybe even get someone that has more recent tax returns to come forward.

    I'll give it a watch, should be cooking dinner around then.
