no stacked heroes is the easiest fix for Mystery Heroes. Zarya on her own can swing a match the other direction, when a team gets three of them it's next to impossible to mount any defense.

Suicide to change heroes in Mystery Mode really cheesed me and I can't believe it made it to live deployment. I really hate that shit. Sometimes an excellent comp draw gets ruined because some Genji main cries about getting a good healer.
Oh I've killed my fair share as Mercy before. Most people expect the Mercy to just flee in the direction of the nearest teammate, but no if I'm shoehorned into playing a mercy and you come at me I'm gonna shoot you in the fucking face fuck you

It's all about knowing when to buff someone vs pull out your pistol to be more direct.

I shoot people when I have yelled at my team about that junkrat who keeps getting behind us is killing me and no one bothers to give a shit.
Also, if we are in an endless standoff on the choke and nothing is happening, I start throwing bullets into the choke to hopefully swing something in our favor. Or at least help get that fucking Rein shield down.

this
i mean theres been so many times when I've been on Reinhardt, with full health and a full shield, sitting at the choke while mercy has her healing beam on me
like, you're not doing anything, you're not contributing in any way
if you don't have anyone else to heal, you might as well just pull out your fucking pistol and shoot
I actually got 2 picks as a Nanaboosted Mercy on the Eichenwald bridge once - which was weird, because usually you hit me with that dart, I panic and nothing dies. Got a nice PotG as Reaper with it once when it still had the speed boost, though.
And actually last night I got it on Hollywood attack as Tracer - got their Torb, Hanzo and Zen!
I was like OHMYGOD DON'T FREAK OUT okay just aiiiim... Good... Just aiiim... Hey, I did it!

There's absolutely nothing less fun than being flat instantly killed by anything any one character can do by themselves, so I can see why they would want to cut down on this - but it doesn't really seem like they know what alternate direction they want to take with him either.
Can we get scatter arrow removed/nerfed next.
What does he have left after that in terms of defense? Lucky headshots?
Wall climb
But yeah, Hanzo isn't anywhere near OP right now so a significant nerf/removal of scatter arrow would require a compensatory buff somewhere else. Maybe just increase his arrow damage by 10%, I dunno.
But it's a very unfun ability to die to, IMO, which Blizz seems to generally care about.
He would definitely need to be buffed in some other way.
Also, in my experience, showing the other team your back for 3 seconds while you try and panic climb away is the surest way to die.

We have found that Dafran, from Overwatch Contenders team Selfless, has violated Rule 7.0 (Conduct) of the Overwatch Contenders Ruleset, which states the following:
All competitors and spectators are required to act in a respectful sportsmanlike manner at all times.
Due to this violation, as of June 8, Blizzard will suspend Dafran’s access to his current Overwatch accounts for one week, and from Competitive Play for the remainder of Season 5. Further, Dafran is disqualified from Overwatch Contenders Season Zero, will not be eligible for Overwatch Contenders Season One, and is disqualified from all future Blizzard-sanctioned tournament play for the duration of this competitive season. Dafran’s Overwatch Contenders team is still eligible to compete with a substitute.
Edit - If anyone is wondering, he told fans "go fuck yourselves." Blizzard's response is appropriate. A quiet, "No, YOU go fuck YOURself."
Yeah he's like in the top 5 players in NA. He was basically livestreaming himself throwing matches, including pro matches, and Blizzard wasn't having it.
His team is keeping him on however because he played the "I have a lot of things going on in my personal life" and "I'm very regretful for my actions" and the usual spiel an early-twenty-something manchild comes out with when they find out that there are consequences to actions, and it worked.

His team can keep him but they better hope other companies host Overwatch tournaments because if it's anything so much as sponsored by Blizzard he's shit out of luck.
Conduct like that should never be normalized. Physical sports don't take that shit lightly and neither should e-sports.

Man Selfless is basically built around Dafran too, he is an absolutely insane hitscan player. He was usually seen as a pretty chill guy too. And Selfless is one of the top NA teams, though a tier down from the elite.

Yeah, fuck this game for a while. Out of a dozen matches, one actual win, one win from a leaver, and a solid ten losses because people Would. Not. Fucking. Change. Characters.
It's utterly unavoidable. Pick a DPS, both tank players refuse to pick somebody with a shield and everybody dies. Pick a healer, you get stunningly poor DPS. Pick a tank, you get a shitty Lucio who won't heal for anything but it doesn't matter anyway because both DPS keep running off and ignoring the Winston that keeps jumping on the one healer actually worth a damn.
I haven't seen the footage myself, but a post on another site went into some of the stuff he did.
1. He was throwing\griefing with torb by running into walls and stuff. I think he was doing that for 8 hours straight, haven't seen it myself. When asked why he was doing it he said something along the lines of "I just wanna reck plat noobs"
2. The game sound was off and he was watching Gordon Ramsey videos on Youtube. The video window was covering half of the screen.
3. He was asking his viewers to queue snipe other streamers and throw their games. He also called this "movement" Overwatch ISIS.
Although now I'm watching the grand final of the overwatch monthly melee and goddamn Yikes is playing really great. They completely thrashed selfless.

Actually their software is extremely intelligent at catching when you're making extra accounts to circumvent bans.
You misunderstood me , didn't say they couldn't catch him . I was saying they probably don't do anything about it.
On a happier note my Mcree practice is going very well. Starting to be able to kill the skinny tracers and dvas more often . A lot more fun then playing soldier too. I figure if I get to the point that I can carry the mouth breathing hanzo/genji/JR instalocks in QP I will be ready to go back into Comp. Plus the break is doing me good. Just practicing and improving my aim.
Question- His fire feels much more inaccurate when you hold down the trigger? Is that me? Should I take single shots only? Feel like it misses a bunch when I do that .

I'm a big fan of the basic design of the Hanzo-like archer hero in Paladins, and I'd like to see somthing like Sha'Lin's alt-fire replace scatter arrow. Sha'Lin has a knockback arrow that applies a brief stun if the target is knocked back into a wall. This might be a little too powerful on Hanzo, as that ability is (mostly...) balanced on Sha-'Lin because Sha'Lin can't headshot, and generally needs a second or third shot - or his other skill used in combo with the stun - to kill a stunned target. But I like the general idea of a light CC/displacement arrow.

We had a comp match today on Dorado that had the enemy Reinhardt and Orisa protecting the Bastion on the Payload. Rolled us for the first point and a bit until someone went Sombra on our side. One of the enemies went Winston and at one point there were Rein/Orisa/Winston barriers all down at once. Our Sombra leaps in, EMP, suddenly the area is totally clear of stupid red thingies and we wipe them.

If you're gold damage as a tank and your dps aren't it may not necessarily be because your dps can't shoot it may also be because you're creating no space for them because you're charging into the enemy swinging your hammer while they re getting ripped apart
Because this happens
I got into an argument with a lying Ana while I was playing Tracer after a competitive KOTH round that went 0/100%, which went something like this:
Ana: Nice Tracer
Ana: Ana with gold elims and damage
Me: Yeah, Tracer wasn't working out so I switched. What's your excuse?
*I look at medals to see gold damage, gold objective time, and objective kills, no medal for elims though*
Me: Actually, I have gold damage... so, nice try.
Ana: Why would an Ana have more elims than a Tracer?
Me: Probably from assists during team fights. Have you tried focusing your shots on team mates instead?
Ana: You keep dying all the time.
Me: Yeah, probably because I'm not getting healed.
Me: Surprise.
Had probably my best PotG ever last night, kinda wished I recorded it.
Defending last point King's Row as D.Va. They are pretty close to capping the point, our team is mostly down/respawning in. I'm the only one currently standing on cart, think 1 person is behind with another just coming out of spawn.

Had a fucking Torb main on a KOTH match who insisted everything would work out. I had my misgivings but the dude had that account to play Torb exclusively for 20 hours so there was obviously no way that shit was going to change. Didn't inspire confidence that I was in a team that had decisively beaten him into the ground a few matches prior, and that he constantly scoffed at a Pharah who was aggroing him down to the point where he could barely put a turret down (despite that strategy probably working out well for the Pharah's health).
Like, if the point is captured and a good defensive layout is established Torbjorn does good work (we actually won the second round due to a solid last-minute defense), but everything up to actually capturing that point is such a handicapped fucking struggle without that defensive pressure that it's really not worth expending the effort to co-ordinate everything around the one team member.
Some matches are really just a complete dogshit waste of time.

Tracer is one of the harder heroes to heal because as a flanker she's often in and out of positions that are difficult for most other healers to reach while still being effective to the rest of the team. I had a Tracer/Genji player complain about not getting heals in a game tonight and my response was basically "I can't heal you about half the time because you're out of line of sight".
That said, starting Ana players get really hung up on shooting enemies (as I was too, when I first started to try the character) and it should be like, one of her bottom-most priorities.
