    Fair enough. Not what I started the thread for, though. This isn't just a bitch session for me. I went out of my way to send links of the shirts to the respective artworks' owners. I know I can't have caught them all. Many of his shirts are obviously (allegedly) derived from clipart. I don't recognize enough of it to locate it's source and get the owners to see it. I'm guessing that, with the thousands of eyes that wade through here, SOME of you may well be able to say "That's definitely from clipart.com" or from wordperfect or UCLA or what have you. Getting THOSE people to see it is what's important.

    and there's a chance that Goldman could have bullied that one out of court with his superior funds
    dave's lucky he got even the settlement

    the rest of them are obviously derivative works, but it is fucking haaaaaaaaaaaard to get a court ruling in the case of derivative works.


    I mean, Rob Liefeld and Greg Land have been doing exactly what Todd Goldman is doing for years and years, and ain't no one thrown a successful lawsuit at either of them
