Are there any clues in the picture to help you figure out where it is? I'm sure that there are but to me it just looks like it could be any moderately dense forest in the game. I've found the rest without the painter and this is my last one but I might have to give in.

It can't be any forest due to the type and color of trees. But if you're dead set on finding that one without help that might be the best I can offer. Farore knows I tried.
my total made up scenario of losing the master sword would be if you got defeated by any of the "bosses" and had it you would have to go back and pull it out again.
I figured it could have happen if you got hit by lightning.

I was looking at file sizes to turn my Wii U into a Legend of Zelda machine. As it stands you can get every title available on the eShop installed minus one of the big games (Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess HD, Wind Waker HD). If I get the disc version of Twilight Princess (again) I can definitely pull it off. Though, when I got Twilight Princess HD it had CRAZY latency problems with the controls, exclusive to it (Splatoon, Mario Maker, everything else worked fine). I wonder if they figured that problem out and fixed it?
As an aside some of these install sizes make no goddamn sense. The NES LoZ was 30MB, Zelda 2 is 65.4 MB when I looked it up on the eShop, Ocarina of Time is 137.2 MB. Oh, and Spirit Tracks is 195 MB.
Edit - Also disappointed no Gameboy content is on the eShop. All the Zelda games from there would fit on the drive too, same condition of one of the big HD games having to not be installed.
Important tip for compendium completionist: at a certain point all lynels will become white or silver (except for a specific red lynel related to a quest). Blue lynels will no longer spawn. If you don't snap their monster OR weapon entries, you will be forced to buy them from Simon.
Correction. There is one lynel that will always be blue, but it doesn't drop it's gear when defeated, just body parts.
Holy shit those sand-seals sure can slam themselves into a wall if you let them. I just about died laughing the first time I dismounted from a dash and it just torpedoed into a wall.

Yeah confirmed, when you swap audio language (must be done at the main menu) it will be subtitled. Sweet deal.
I would really like a triforce heroes style Zelda game for the switch. Either as a 2d style, 2 player affair, or maybe in the same engine as BOTW, which would be like Zelda Portal.
I'd really love to play triforce heroes....if only i had 3 friends....damnit nintendo....*sniff*...I was OKAY with this before....
I bought Triforce Heroes when it came out, and promptly became too terrified of being the group dipshit to actually go online with randoms, or even play with people from Penny-Arcade. If we found a third, we could start up a game night and try to beat the game together.
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.
Ahaha, you can use your metal equipment - or even Yellow Chuchu Jelly - to complete the circuits in the wiring shrines. The attention to detail is amazing.
I never got this to work
It took a while before I could find another shrine that gave me an opportunity to demonstrate this, but I finally came across one.

I'm randomly having an issue with Zelda - sometimes when I load my game, my fiancee will take my controller and just go hunt deer and boar for like 45 minutes.
I'm actually okay with this, it lets me appreciate just how pretty the game can be. However, I now make sure to buy all the arrows anywhere I see them for sale.

OK, I peaced out of the last thread for fear of spoilers, but need some advice. I've finished the 4 Divine Beasts and...
...am thinking about grabbing the Master Sword and finishing the game. Went to the Lost Woods and got, well, lost. I went from torched area to torched area and came to an apparent dead end. Am I missing something?
Outside of that, I have 11 of the 12 memories, only missing the one near the castle. Figured I grab that when I go for the last boss. Aside from the last memory and Master Sword, is there anything else big/fun I should do? I found 2 fairy fountains (sand area/eastern village) and a bunch of temples/koroks all over.
Oh yeah, where did that big korok upgrade dude go? I got a ton of seeds for extra inventory space.

Just a note on that last memory you mentioned.
Your probably going to want a word with Impa after you find the one in the castle but before you finish Ganon. Just a heads up

For myself, I ended up talking to the guide at Woodland Stable multiple times before figuring out what I needed to do in the Lost Woods. It just made it all the sweeter once I finally got the solution.

I could not figure out how to get through the mist either. After a while I got distracted by a deer,
and tried to ride it. When it thrashed around (me on its back), it randomly found the correct path. Either I got really lucky, or maybe the path is not hidden from deers...

You'll find big Korok dude very soon.
There are four fairy fountains in total.
The only optional big quest I can think of is building Tarry Town (start by buying the house in Hateno), but there are a crapload of small quests to find around the world.

Thanks for the cryptic tips, I'll see if I can figure out what to do. At this point though, I might just look online if the answer doesn't become obvious.
While I've enjoyed the game, I really hope the next game isn't like this one. There's just way too much to do and explore, which sounds silly to complain about, but my game time is way limited these days and I like my experiences more focused. If I was 10 again, I'd be in love with the game.
According to the Switch, I've put in over 60 hours so far, and when I look at my map, there are huge patches of areas with no icons or area names. Based on my map results, I appear to have spent most of my time exploring the central area, eastern section, and southwest. After that, I just went on a tower spree.
But now I look at how much left there is to find/explore and it's exhausting. Open world games were never fun to me because they seem to lack focus. Main story quests help, but having things big to be big was never a strong point to me. Those games sell like hotcakes though, so what do I know?
Once I finish what I want, I may have to just let the game go. I'm sure all the extra exploring will just reveal more shrines, seeds, and/or average weapons/armor. Maybe I'm wrong, but given what I've seen so far, I doubt it.
