I still maintain the Druid Quest is actually really interesting and fun. It's not quite good enough, but I think if it only required 4 it'd be actually broken. Finding a way to complete it without dying is an interesting challenge, and then you get to miracle through the rest of your deck dropping fatties!

it's still my favourite deck to play hands down, even after crafting lyra

Man, the seatstory casters are generally not good.
It's not the game knowledge that's the problem. It's that they tend to get way off topic, and talk about things that have absolutely nothing to do with the game. It's one thing when they're talking about the merits of a specific card and they don't actually comment on the game itself, that's fine when the plays are obvious. The problem is when they get off onto really wild tangents that have nothing to do with the game.
Civics is not a consumer product that you can ignore because you don’t like the options presented.
Were you around for when that guy piloted shredders all the time?
He was the best at piloting shredders.
Not sure how many of you all are playing wild these days, but that poisonous snail is a pretty frequent pilot these days, and really annoying to deal with.

That is literally the point of the Seatstory Cup, if you're not familiar with it.

I'm cool with finding out the opinions of pros on different cards, on how the pros see other pros, on general metagame thoughts, etc. It's when they talk about how veggie buritos are bad during big matches that I kind of feel like they're dropping the ball. The pros dropping in to guest commentate is awesome; when it has nothing to do with Hearthstone, it just doesn't work IMO.
On a completely different note, a pretty easy fun hopefully fun spot-the-lethal.
EDIT: Wrong image up at first...

That's kinda seatstory's whole thing, it's very casual and meme-y and more about jokes and being silly than about taking the tournament seriously.

Then watch another tournament, I guess. People love Seatstory because there's plenty of other serious tournaments all year, this is the one time you get pros just goofing off talking about bullshit in a public space that happens to be over some other pros playing cards, it's just a bit of fun.
Edit: Like, I guess you don't watch streamers very much, like Toast/Dog/Reynad/Savj, etc? It's basically that style of stream, but as a group.

Do we know if the legendary changes apply to gold cards? I suppose the easiest way to do it would be the Gold and regular versions count as different cards.

They confirmed on Twitter that they both count. IE, if you open a regular Sherazin, you can't open a golden Sherazin.
That shit happened to me twice on day 1 of the xpac. So tilting.
This was exactly my introduction to the Taunt Warrior right after crafting it. Two Priests, and they somehow snag my weapon... out of 5 or so cards. Both times...
So I just got a Golden Gruul in a free pack. Here are the decent legendary cards I am missing: Tirion, Rag Lightlord, Wickerflame, Shaku, Leeroy, Finja, Alexstraza, Deathwing. I am leaning towards Tirion? Maybe Finja?

I'd say, from those, Tirion because it's in the classic set so won't rotate.
That said, I think the next expac announcement may be imminent (I'm hoping this week or next), so if you're not urgently wanting to play some Paladin funkiness then maybe stick it out to see if there's something awesome coming that you want to craft.

I made Finja at the start of Un'goro but he seems to be out of favor in most decks. Also he will rotate in less than a year so I kinda regret it. I'd suggest Alex, Tirion or DW. All sweet leggos and safe crafts.

I made Twin Emperors with dust from my initial Un'goro pile. Bet you feel better now!
So this druid and I are fighting
I have him on the ropes, dead to rights. I just have to face for lethal.
I remember I have a 50 warrior card quest so I hold off and pass.
He thanks me and just plays out his hand on useless stuff.
Wait a sec...
we both apparently had "play x class card" quests and just spent the next 15-20 turns just playing class cards and passing (he was at 3 hp).
Kind of a gentleman's agreement.
Only got to 28 cards played for warrior >.<'
Those are the best matches. I remember when the "play ## class cards" quests came out I would find lots of people like that in Casual. It was great feeling that there are great people out there like that. I would try to show the other player that I'm not playing for the win by either smashing my minions into theirs, hitting myself in my face early or some other way to let them know that I'm only there for the playing of cards.
Now that you can do that with friends, I have seen less people doing that in Casual. Actually now that I have a bunch of great decks, I have seen what everybody here has said which is Casual seems to be the same decks as Ranked. Before I would see lots and lots of random weird decks and lots of Bloodfen Raptor decks.

Of those, IMO:
Craft these first: Tirion Fordring, Alexstrasza, Leeroy Jenkins
These are all Classic, and staples of various decks. Tirion Fordring is obviously class specific (but will go into almost all decks of that class), while Alexstrasza and Leeroy Jenkins are deck type specific; Leeroy is probably going to fit into more decks, but it'll come down to what you like playing.
Next times: Deathwing
Also Classic, but used in fewer decks.
And then: the rest
They'll rotate within nine months, so unless you have something that you want to build in the near future, you're better of passing on them and crafting other cards.

Tirion is always a good craft if you like Paladin. He's a staple in every Paladin deck that's ever existed bar one that I can think of (old old school aggro Divine Favor).
I decided to count 2-drop minions and found there are over 80 of them. I have hit an extraordinarily bad string of Evolves. What did I do RNG gods to have wrought your ire?!

Bragging about all that evolving you do without hitting doomsayers probably didn't help
He gets a lucky Dirty Rat pulling my Dopplegangerster. Naturally I topdeck Evolve the following turn.
Full board by turn 11 waiting on my second Bloodlust to show up for lethal. He topdecks Brawl, clears, and plays Sulfuras. I emote "That's Incredible!" THEN THAT FUCKER "Well Played" ME! OH HELL NO!
I play wide not having to fear anymore Brawls and to protect from Die Insect.
Topdecks Drake to clear most of my board. I "That's Incredible!" him. Not gonna lie, I was getting salty. ANOTHER "Well Played"?!
Back and forth trades for board control. Turn 17 starts the 6hp, dodge Die Insect train.
Turn fucking 20 I finally have enough for Bloodlust lethal!
I mass "Well Played" him until the fireworks started going off.

But seriously, I swear Blizzard has upped the rate that Doomsayer appears from Evolve lately because I have seen him show up a lot when I play against Shaman. Of course I have to emote after seeing it since that sucks for them.

Your Honor, the Defense is bringing up articles that clearly happened after the event in question.
And if you look through the transcripts, the opponent clearly had the better RNG favor of the gods. I would counter argue that Mr. Dover had to play even more skillfully to secure that win.

I play Reno Kazakus Quest NZoth priest in wild. It's fun and competitive, but not top tier or anything.
(I mean, I do have a >70% winrate this season, but that's below rank 10)
Firebat was running something similar while laddering. His main thing was Bloodbloom + Violet + Doom = Tons of cards.

I've seen shamans (de)volving their own or their opponents board trying to hit doomsayers in dire situations. So far nobody hit that 1/80.
