So apparently there is something going down at Buckingham Palace? Like internally some kind of Emergency Meeting.

It's only being reported by the mail, which means there's a good chance there is no such meeting.

Although the best guess is that Prince Philip has died if there is such a meeting

Allright to whoever suggested Lambic beer, I did find a bottle at Safeway for $13 for 750ml. It was a bitch to get open what with those impossible screwtops AND cork. It is allright but not anything super special.

Apparently the palace do emergency meetings like this occasionally without any big news associated

    PHILIP LIVES!

Gotta wonder why the hell the Mail started that rumour. How desperate for a distraction from their front page today were they?

It is better than Hard Cider, and I would like it more if it wasn't Raspberry. Like, I may get it again but between the cost and non-ease of opening it is like a once every other month thing.

Because I've only had one beer and haven't even started smoking, and my mind is completely blown asunder.

This particular brand is Framboise. I will say it goes down hella easy, way easier than anything else I have drank, outside of those Smirnoff drinks.

i've always really liked acidic citrusy sweet-sour flavors, so I like a good lambic where it has that prickly tang in your throat as you sip it

Hmm I am digging this more now. It doesn't have any of that bitter beer taste I hate. I still won't get it more than like once a month and a half, maybe.

    Jesus fuck
A trio of 17-year-old female escorts are wanted for the second degree murder of a bloody man who stumbled into a Stoney Creek gas station.

Det. Sgt. Dave Oleniuk says one of the teens is from Hamilton, the other two are from the Toronto area. They drove with Hayder Qasim-Rushdi, 33, from Mississauga, where he lives, to Stoney Creek where he was fatally stabbed in the neck with a knife.

"They were involved as escorts," says Oleniuk.

The detective says there was blood found in Qasim-Rushdi's car, which may have been where the stabbing took place.

"Blood pattern analysis of the car is still ongoing," Oleniuk says. Earlier he said the victim was stabbed "not too far" from the Pioneer gas station on Upper Centennial Parkway where Qasim-Rushdi drove himself to at 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Police have the knife that is believed to be the murder weapon. A search warrant was executed Tuesday afternoon at a home on Hamilton Mountain.

The girls cannot be named because their identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Oleniuk says police have no reason to believe that any of the girls were injured during their time with Qasim-Rushdi.

Qasim-Rushdi drove alone to the gas station and, soaked in blood, walked inside and collapsed in front of a male employee and a customer.

He died in hospital Sunday afternoon.

Huh. So it is. I might have looked at the wrong thing. Also is 2.5% really enough to make me feel tipsy before I am close to finishing it? Man I am a lightweight.

In other news I broke my personal best score on Star Trek: TNG pinball with 1.36 billion. like 800 million of that was from Borg multiball where I caught goddamn fire.

A great touch with the TNG pinball machine is if you do well in a particular mode (Neutral zone modes, Borg Multiball, stuff like that) after you game over you get a Captain's Log entry saying the crew did admirably during the borg invasion or whatevs.

@STATE OF THE ART ROBOT Was it a Linderman's because those are pretty meh IMO. I'd try to find a Grand Cru or a Flemish Red. Goses are super popular right now and fairly easy to find too. If you want something fruitier try to find something unsweetened (still assuming what you had was a Linderman's here). I could probably give you more specific suggestions if I knew where you lived.
