If I'm the Knicks and can get the #3, next years Brooklyn pick (gonna definitely be in the top 3), Jaylan Brown, and Jae Crowder...I do it in a heart beat.
I think Ainge turns that down (and if the rumors are true, he already has). Jackson is just shooting for the moon to start. If he got that haul it's def worth dealing KP but I doubt miserly ainge would ever agree
maybe i'm streaming terrible dj right now if i am its here
Honestly that 3 + player + another late lottery pick this year is an underpay for Porzingis. Porzingis would be the #1 overall player in this draft tbh. Dude is real good.
I'd want #3, the nets pick next year, and a player minimum.

That may be where the offer ends up
I'm also hearing Spurs have a real shot at Paul George... that would make me laugh. Sorry Lakers, give us that high pick

Why would the Spurs want George, when they have Leonard?
There it is
Wolves get butler, give up the 7, Lavine and dunn
Goddamn, the Wolves are maybe the second last team I thought would trade for Butler.
They have lots of young developing talent and needed an established guy
Wiggins gets to defend 2s instead of three now
Rubio found a groove as the season went on so they felt confident enough to trade dunn off
Only hole is at 4
Boston has been engaged in serious talks about all these players. I'll be shocked if they jump on any of them. Ainge is probably trying to get them for a sock and a bag of balls.

Oh, I agree, it makes a shit ton of sense, it's just not something I thought of.

This offseason and draft is already making up for the last couple anemic ones.
Last year we had KD's big move, but apart from that not a lot happened.
This year, we have Butler and Dwight Howard already moving, potentially George too, plus multiple big FAs to sign; Hayward, Blake, CP3, Lowry, Millsap, plus a myriad of nearly-stars or past-their-prime solid starters like George Hill, Ibaka, Iguodala, Redick, Teague.

I hate that this is happening.
That's an upgrade to like 95% of the roster.
But it won't happen.
EDIT: It's the difference between "we'd be doing our team a disservice by not listening to all possibilities" and actively shopping him.

i could see him staying!
Whew! Zach Collins.
Actually they traded with Portland, so they'll now get the #15 and #20 picks.
Still means Monk is getting picked by someone else.

He could slip to 15.
Or not...
