Guys, you know what time it is? I'll tell you: it's time for the 32nd Sanrio Character Ranking! All your favourite Sanrio characters - not any of those San-X malcontents, and yes I'm talking about you Jinbesan you handsome rogue - are competing to see who is the most popular character in the Sanrio multiverse.
Since poll chats are the next big thing sweeping the nation, let's have our own character battle, based on the current Top Ten Contendors to the Kyara Throne of Sanrioland.
Now, you may notice some characters who are missing - such as Retsuko, or Bad Badzt Maru - but unfortunately they aren't in the top ten contendors list according to the current votes on the official website, and as such have been eliminated from the candidacy in this poll.
That aside, it's time to showcase these adorable little intangible commodities!
First up, we have Cinnamoroll, the fluffy happy friend who has been internet bullied.
Second, it's Pompompurin, a character I have never seen before but I'm guessing is some kind of dog???
Third, it's My Melody, a character I mostly know because Madoka Magica had a crossover collaboration with her!
Fourth, Gudetama, the egg who is lazy and maybe depressed if you identify patterns with his whole schtick!
Fifth, it's SHOW BY ROCK!!, who I have also never heard of but seems kind of interesting??
Sixth, Little Twin Stars, who I think should be ineligible for this poll unless they are actually a single entity in a multi-bodied hivemind!
Seventh, KIRIMI Chan., everyone's favourite sentient magical salmon cutlet!
Eighth, Hello Kitty, the veteran of the Sanrio stable!
Ninth, Kuromi, some kind of goth cat goblin!
