White mage - 4/11 with a disco ball (!): Tyro SSB, Y'shtola SSB, Y'shtola BSB, Beatrix OSB. I only had twenty items on this banner and ALL OF MY DRAWS ARE DUPES.
Well, at least I now have a 8* OSB sword, waiting for that 6* Dark Matter.
1/11 Hope BSB2. It's a solid holy boost armor, and also it's a burst with a couple unique effects. I can live with that.
Haven't decided yet whether I'm going to do the White Mage draw. Leaning towards probably, but I'm actually most interested in the non-healer items on the banner, so...maybe I shouldn't.
JP is getting a special campaign gimmick fight event. The Shinra 100-man challenge.
The event consists of an FFVII dungeon where waves and waves of Shinra soldiers come at you; 100 in total. If you complete the dungeon, you add to the global kill count (the max rewards are given at 7.77 million global kills). And only Sephiroth gets synergy for the dungeon.
That should be Zack getting synergy. Sephiroth never did something like that.
A Zack event would be one where you can only use Zack, and the game throws increasingly difficult shinra enemies at you, forever, until you get KOd, and you contribute points based on your highest run

The AI writeup on reddit isn't 100% clear, but the way he's worded it strongly suggests to me that you'll still get countered if you hit, say, Holy Imperil.

From reading the AI script, it sounds like hitting anything but the particular weakness of its current form results in a counter attack. That is, if the attack is able to be countered, which (most) soul breaks and summon abilities cannot be. I know I hit it with Warrior of Light's BSB entry and didn't eat any counter attacks, though I have no doubt I would have if I used the commands.

I'm mildly impressed you recognized an item you didn't own offhand, actually. I can only do that for a few things like Healer's Circlet (which ironically I now finally own) because I've been looking for them for so long.
...man, I didn't realize I had so few BM. Maybe I need to rethink this.
But they can wait, if nothing else. Will we know the fest banners before these go away?
Maybe, but probably not. At least not the exact ones. The FFV event tomorrow is the last event in the monthly(ish) data dump, so we should know more in about a week, but at the same time, we don't normally actually get the fest banners uploaded until just before the fest itself. A week out at most. They're not part of the normal data dumps. What we may very well find out next week is that there's nothing on the docket for the next 3-4 weeks.
That said, I wouldn't bet on it. If we have the same schedule as last year, the won't be until the end of June/start of July, which is a week or two after the Nightmare stuff ends. You can use the Japan ones as a pretty close approximation, especially since these are particularly full of new stuff at the top of the banners, which only generally gets shuffled around slightly. Sap is pretty damn near the top of the list of status effects that can be completely ignored.
But he has a Graviga and I'm still traumatized by Yunalesca.
Pack Death Resist if you're very worried about it.
And yeah, Omniscient demands magic only. Don't even bop him with Attack for meter build.
I'll probably bring, like, Quistis and Rapha, as a default. Or Quistis and Terra, if we have enough buffs. Just two mages getting increasingly angry until they break the damage limit.
2/11 on whm: Arc's BSB and Penelo's USB. I quite like using Penelo with her BSB already so I'm happy, she really needs a dresssphere or something though, that drab sprite.

I'll do a summary/refresher on Saturday evening/Sunday morning as usual, but
tl;dr MAGIC ONLY, bring Exdeath Grand Cross again this week, and bring as many Terras/Kriles/whatever as you can fit besides that. (If you don't have Exdeath then cry and try to switch to summoners instead if possible to avoid too many counters to the face.)
I'll probably get stuck on dancing Penelo/wall bot Y'shtola duty again but if possible I'd love to bring out Krile.

I'm pretty bad at recognizing swords and daggers, as it turns out (if you watched my previous draw, you can see me say "this item is probably bad" and it turns out to be Lion BSB). This particular item is very obviously Hope-related though - the little bandana thing that's attached is a dead giveaway. For all the shit people give FFRK about reusing and recoloring sprites, some of their relic artwork is actually pretty good.

I have Reno BSB, and I've found it to be a pretty darn good physical burst, IF I can equip Reno. I have fists in a variety of realms to help with that, but I do not have a +lit light armor. If I did, he'd get the nod more often.

That celerity pull is droolworthy, all three of those items are great. Slightly unfortunate that you got a dupe on the WM pull, but in the short term it's another decent stat stick for your black mages to use, and eventually you can combine it up with the existing one for a slightly better white mage stick. In general I'm not super excited about the FuSoYa SSB, but it would combine pretty well with the Seymour burst you're already rocking.

So, I made an ill-advised pull on the BLM banner hoping for Fujin BSB. And I did not get it... I did however, see a tiara, which I hoped against hope was, and was indeed, Terra's En-Fire. And on the summoner draw I got Terra's OSB. So hell yeah. I have the best mixed fire time. Just the most tremendous relics.

That Fran BSB is going to provide a lot of damage mitigation, especially as you start building orbs and hone Full Break.

Tyro USB is pretty decent, too - Dunno if you've got any other hastega or not, so simply having one is a plus (especially on a character who can at least be slotted in to fill any role needed, if a tad sub-optimally), but that debuff avoid can be great in certain fights.
It's one of the 3 Tyro SBs I'd say are useful - that, Wall, and his BSB all see some usage from me.
