square enix decided to fire the third party dev they hired to make it and do the project in-house instead, and so now it's not expected to see a release for at least a few more years. Also kingdom hearts 3 is also not expected to be ready for another few years either. I wouldn't be surprised if neither project released before the next console generation at this point.
As I just bought a Switch my expectations for E3 are that everything I ever wanted is announced for the Switch and it runs perfectly and also I get it all for free

As much as their very, very stupid names make me smile and I love them, they really should have called the PSP game KH0 and the 3DS one really should have just been KH3.
The PSP game, Birth by Sleep is maybe the best in the franchise, and the 3DS one is rather good too.
At least they finally consolidated everything onto one console.
Seeing these ads while driving around downtown is so weird. Last year there was a giant, spread across 3 buildings Gwent ad across from the convention center

I appreciate the way Firaxis has been doing it. I think Civ VI was announced and released in just over 5 months, and even XCOM2 was like 8 months including a delay.
e: Even Shadow of War's delay will come in under 8 months, if that's the only one

Yeah, after Spider Man 2, it took a long time for there to be another game that hooked me that strongly with the movement system alone.
The next game to do that with me was Gravity Rush.
I've genuinely never played a game with locomotion as good as Spider-Man 2. Even the later Spider-Man games largely fucked it up. I bet I could boot that game up right now and enjoy it just as much as I did then.
