I'm gonna buy it regardless, but yeah. I hope they keep overhauling all the mechs so I can get good looking minis of the Hunchback and the Jagermech. I've got some other favorites like the Mauler and Annihilator I'd like to see but, the HBK and JM6 have been my go to engines of destruction for a long time.
I do need more pilots, so we can certainly work something out!
I don't see a Victor in there. This seems like a critical oversight in your inventory of flying AC20's. Too bad there isn't a new model in the works, but there is this guy https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2609177. And now I want a 3d printer.

Can I interest y'all in a Hunchback
Or a Victor?
(Actually a Quasimodo and a Lu Wei Bing, both spritual successors to the prior mechs)
((And I do actually have a Victor scheduled, but it's in the third company))
Been away since October but a battletech video popped up on my YouTube , man that’s looking super good. Love harebrained so much.
Now go back to shadowrun damn you!
Edit- And as far as needing new pilots , I am the Red Baron of the awesome which is coincidently the best mech ever made . Least in my heart and in the end isn’t that what really matters?
Harebrained Schemes is doing a get together at the Raygun Lounge on the 31st. Only about 100 slots available so be sure to RSVP now!
Jordan Weisman (creator of BattleTech), Mitch Gitelman (Studio Manager) and Mike McCain (Game Director) will be there (plus a big chunk of the dev team!) to show off the nearly final BATTLETECH for the first time in public.
Those minis look absolutely gorgeous. I admit, the whole painting thing is the only thing keeping me out of the Battletech miniatures game- it's also why I'm getting the new game in April, because I don't have enough in the way of giant robots in my life.
I'm looking forward to weekend after next, too- the local game convention at my old university is happening, and that always means they bring down a bunch of the Battletech pods from Grand Rapids and set them up for people to play. So I'm looking forward to that, too.

Gah!!! I wish I could play one of those pods. When they came out there was one spot in San Francisco that had them for some reason. But I didn't have that much of an expendable income nor the ability to convince my parents to let a HS kid drive that far. Thus my dream today would be to visit one of the last centers or a convention.

Or I could just build my own....
Make a pilgrimage to Gen Con, and you'll have more pods to play in than you'll know what to do with.

Also, your bank accounts will be empty.
Yes, and my CC would be maxxed. There might be a reason I'm so far away from such conventions... Hmm...
I do need more pilots, so we can certainly work something out!
How does one get on this list?
Generally speaking, perform meritorious acts in the name of the Oosik Irregulars! For instance, everyone that was on our First Engagement tournament team (oh so long ago) automatically got a slot. Anyone that's placed on a MWO event leaderboard (e.g. Sidewynder, RedSpo0n) or left a mark on a larger event (Tukayyid 3, e.g. Betsuni, Adamski, Maijinamuro, and Mortious) found their way into the First Battalion rolls. (Uhhh...never previously revealed that to Bets, Maij, and Mort. Congratulations! Your acceptance letter has been delayed by ComStar.)
Absent any of that, being a long standing and active member of the Oosik community doesn't hurt. Or being a salty enough one, in the case of Padre.
At present, I have six open slots, with three more provisionally reserved for my three IRL friends. That said, I could bump those bums off into a specialist lance of their own, and open up those slots for more "true" Oosiks*. So go! Perform deeds both great and notable in the name of the Irregulars, and you too can find your name added to an internet nerd's spreadsheet, and written on the base of a tabletop miniature. ;D
*My IRL friends are technically on the Oosik rolls and payroll, but haven't really played since Oosik Bash 1.

Hey... Selling me short. I got 20th on the Urbanmech leaderboards.
But seriously, didn't realize that other event got me into the real Oosiks on your shelf. Thanks Nips!
Here ya go. That said, slots 25-36 (3rd Company) can be somewhat flexible on 'Mech choices, but not really (I already own the figures), unless @Erlkönig exhibits meritorious service that compels me to drop something for a Marauder. Or likewise for someone else.

I'll see if I can't get a few good matches in in the near future.
Alternatively, I could be the emergency Duffman of the group: when all hope fades and the day is about to be lost, in comes a MAD-BH2 jump-jetting into battle, using my AC20 to shoot kegs of the finest stouts and ales (ammo switching is life!) like a grown-up t-shirt air cannon straight to the cockpits of Oosik mechs so they can pop them open like Popeye and his tins of spinach...growing mighty and gaining the strength to win the day.

Ohhh, you have a Crab. The crab is one of my favorite mediums, although I don't think I've ever seriously driven them in MWO. Why energy boat in a crab when I could drive a nova and have so much more firepower? Hmm, although now I wonder if anything meaningful can be done with them with with the more advanced ppcs.
On a different theater, I believe that I piloted a crab a few times in those megamek sorties that we had awhile back.
It is promising to hear that the most recent patch notes seem like a step in the right direction. Continue that enough and I'll probably dust off my mechs again.

i got my Ace of Spades in a 5xMPL crab.
Did they up the engine cap on the Crabs? I thought there was only one that could mount a 300+ engine? Looking at smurfy to look for the variant I had and they all support 300+ engines now?
I got my Ace Of Spades in a Grasshopper where Cheerios started blocking friendly fire on the last enemy mech so I could get the kill. It was pretty great.

What is this strange feeling of not being angry at the patch notes.
MWO: Adamski
As someone in the youtube comments said "ATMs and Uac5s, Goliath online."
XFIRE:redspo0n (Yep, Zero in there) XBL: Pinkspo0n
WHAT? NOOOO!!!!
I'm looking forward to try out the Roughneck and Sun Spider soon.

Yeah, I'm reading through them and they almost seem...competent. A bunch of small, incremental tweaks that all seem pretty solid.
