When you get to the ETL raid just use Play on your characters until you get the Royal Bad Mouth ability then use that until he flees to unlock the real raid and he will kill you hard.

Apparently the Sphiermorph in the FFX thing is bugged. It's supposed to become weak on your turn, but it becomes weak on its own turn, and then loses its weakness. So the only way to do damage are fixed damage things (eg Setzer's dice), or non-elemental magic.
Rikku in 20! Also Leon so I can start workimg on dark knights soul.
Also, willing to wager I'm the only person to not get the keep allies alive mission on king mog. Lesson learned, queue up heals before soul eater, do not just repeat.
Ugh contemplating if I should throw my last 5k lapis in for a last ditch effort for Tilith. Ramza, Refia and one day Rikku is probably more than fine tho. I do want the OG goddess tho...
Yeah, I think they screwed up how buffs/debuffs work. Also, I experienced my buffs/debuffs falling off randomly against the King Mog Counterattack stage, and as far as I am aware he doesn't have any dispels.
King Mog is also/still an asshole. I used King's Play the first turn, and then Royal Badmouth on repeat for the next like 13 turns while he sneezed away literally everybody but Tilith before FINALLY leaving and unlocking the real trial.

Servers normalized, at least for me, so finally able to use orbs and NRG. That took a bit. I'm also close to a rank up, so I'm gonna be playing a lot later. Good thing tomorrow is my day off so I can stay up late if need be.
I upgraded WoL this morning, but I still have Fryevia, Marie, Tidus and Rikku to level and awaken. Good thing I grab as many 6* mats as I can.
Tidus should be easy to gear, I do have Camille for that DW water sword, and I can farm Leon for his TMR. And since I now have 4 Mercedes, I might set myself up a water chain team. How would one set up Mercedes?
I found out that if you awaken someone they unequip all their armor/materia. I was wondering why my Tidus went from ~500 ATK to almost nothing even though I got him back to level 60ish.

Put 20 tickets in, pulled a Rikku, leaving me a cool ~50 tickets left. Did the free 10+1 and got hot garbage, saw everyone's "I pulled a Tidus!" from their Guaranteed 5* pull and got the itch.
I am now the proud owner of Queen. And this is why I don't gamble.

Threw Chizuru's equipment at Reberta, have her at a respectable 707 ATK if using Crimson Blood+Vernard or 724 if using Crimson Blood+Gugnir.
Now that I have a neat looking Dragoon I now can have an opinion on the jump bugs needing to be fixed. Rabble rabble and all that.
Also, took down the angry Mog King challenge. It's not terribly difficult if you can keep the buffs and debuffs up*. Have to make sure I get the "Evoke an Esper" challenge done. Was close last time but killed him on the same round I filled the bar.
*and I guess have two Fryevia's at ~850 MAG chaining with Olive finishing...maybe my experience won't be universal.
Just a heads up... The Mog Raid summon is pretty bad. You can only do 1000 at a time and the pool is flooded with 1* cactaurs/turtles. You still have the chance of getting a 4* but it's very low, unlike the FFXIV one.
I'm definitely gonna be doing that raid summon as I go. I don't want to go through the pain of doing it all at once like with Titan. 525k raid coins was painful at 5k a pull.
First turn: (Pre-emptive didn't do anything dangerous (just poison/blinds))
Tilith: Cleared statuses
Rikku: Primed mix or whatever it is
WoL: Arms Eraser
Noctis: Link
Orlandeaus: Divine Ruination (same all turns)
King Mog brutalized the party with a random bunch of attacks, but didn't kill anybody.
Second turn:
Tilith: Full Heal (same all further turns)
Rikku: Hyper Null All
WoL: Armor Eraser
Noctis: Fire Flask (blinded King Mog)
All King Mog did from then out (2-3 more turns) was make some comment about "That won't work on me!" buffed his Def/Spr (I ignored), and cast some mega-meteor that left Rikku under 500 HP, but everyone else more in the 1k-2k range.
I got ~1.9k coins from it (aside from the only one mission I cleared), which doesn't seem like it's much better than the dumb sneeze version, but I don't remember.

And yeah, echoing that the Raid Summon is insanely awful in every way. Already got a Moogle from it.

Now I just need to finish up my current TM squad and get started on farming my four Jacks and Gilgamesh

78 tickets, 16k Lapis remaining, although that lapis is going into TM farming both Tidus & Rikku right away.

Mog beat the snot out of me a few times, but I worked out a 3 turn victory that produces zero casualties on my side. Got me 2/3 mission rewards, to boot.
