I think you really can tell how good a band was by watching how they did on whistle test.
The show was produced on a shoestring budget in a shoebox studio and basically it was entirely up to the musical acts to make it sound any good at all.
Hall & Oates is probably the best ogwt cut I've heard

I kind of think the same about Later... with Jools Holland.
Not because they have no budget, but because he's notoriously picky about bands performing "live", so no sequencers, drum machines, etc.
It's interesting because even some really production-heavy bands produce amazing performances, and some bands that you wouldn't expect really struggle.

The OGWT studio was so small that when Lynyrd Skynyrd was on in their first U.K. TV appearance they could barely fit the entire band on stage
Tim Tebow plays at the minor league team in my town! The stadium the Columbia Fireflies play at is pretty nice and football jesus increased the attendance at least when he started (no idea if still).
Riverdogs are owned by Bill Murray as I recall. I used to see him every once in a while in downtown Charleston, particularly around Kaminsky's.

Yes.
So Tebow is still playing in the minor leagues. And one of the opposing teams decided to troll his team when they played.
