Yeah. I gift cars I don't really want in protest of the bullshit prices they go for in-game. If the auction house weren't already flooded with them, I would just sell them, but gifting is cool, too.
I figure once I get home in a couple hours I might gift someone my Ferrari 612, which I used for the fattybutt Heavyweight series at Proving Grounds and learned to hate with every fiber of my being in the process. Maybe it's just the fact that I had to take it around some ridiculous chicanes in its stock configuration, but contrary to conventional wisdom I have come to believe that it was born out of Satan's ass and handles like Orson Welles riding a shopping cart. If some suspension upgrades, new tires and a spoiler don't make it fun to drive, I'm willing to gift/trade it for something like a '68 GTO or, hell, even an R32 Skyline.
I think I've found the perfect (for me) set of deadzone settings for the wheel and pedals. I drive an '87 BMW 325i in RL, so I've tried to make response of the throttle and brake similar to my own car. The wheel settings are adjusted based solely on how the steering works best for me.
Wow, I would have posted earlier, but I have been spending too much time playing this game. A couple quick questions that I haven't seen answered so far, apologies if they have been:
1. If you hire a driver to do a race, does it count as being completed and give you the prize car? I saw earlier someone mention getting the car, but I wanted to make sure.
2. If you switch regions, do you get the discount in the new region? Can you use this to level up and win free cars in another region?
Ah well, if anyone ever wants to race for fun, or needs me to buy Asia cars with a discount and put them on the AH with a buyout price that is the same as I had to pay let me know. GamerTag is below.

I will say that GT4's version of Nurburgring always felt "off" to me. This one feels much closer to the real deal, although it is much more fun to flog a 'vette around it in real life.

Maybe if I leave it black and put a faded snake towards the end of it, I can make the car look like The Black Album or something.

Looks approximately 100 times better in-game, shitty compression absolutely kills the texturing (the whole car has a ton of low-opacity tears and splats to make the paint look rough).

Why not try putting the album cover for Ride the Lightning on it, and make it the Ride the Lightning mobile. You can put a bunch of lightning bolts and stuff on it too. I don't have the game but it seems the bolts would be relatively easy to make, but I'm not sure about the electric chair.

Actually, Road America at Elkhart Lake WI isn't even in Forza 2. This makes me unhappy.
Road America is an excellent track. I really don't see why they let it go. It has a nice blend of straights and corners that make it very good for A-class+ cars. Very sad indeed. Come to think of it I am very disapointed overall with the track selection. Loved Rio in the first game and it would have been gorgeous on the 360.

However, I would consider using either the Charger (even though that car's used alot for all kinds of stuff), or perhaps the Barracuda. FYI, Wiki tells me the Bluesmobile was a 1974 (police model) Dodge Monaco sedan. Note the longer trunk than most of the available models in Forza 2. Hrmm.

Well, the '74 (?) model was. (Weirdly enough, I vaguely remember it being some kind of hidden traffic car in the PC version of Need for Speed III.) But hells yes, the Torino Cobra is superbad.
I would also gladly cough up 800 points for a Mopar "Scat Pack"/"Rapid Transit System" DLC pack with '70-'71 models of the Road Runner, Challenger, Super Bee, 340 Duster, Dart Swinger 340, GTX and Satellite Sebring.

No force-feedback is a deal breaker for me. Fry's has the MS wheel for 110. It's a no-brainer.
For us Canadians, Futureshop is selling the MS wheels for $100, but the sale ends today.
Try grabbing a raincheck if its sold out.
