So I'm playing CoD Infinite Warfare and I noticed that I have a deep craving for some space shooting and flying. Seriously, where are all the space operas? What happened to Freespace and Wing Commander? I suppose there's that pie in the sky, Star Citizen, but why in the world is this genre so dead?
What's the appeal with WWII? I don't understand why people want to dig up that setting when the sky is literally limitless in space. Every scenario you can imagine, can be justified in space. Want to fight cover to cover on top of a sand worm fighting against spice runner on a planet that orbits 3 suns? That can happen in space! It will never happen in WWII!
