figure i might bring this to ta larger audience than just the steam thread, but I'm thinking they have wyverns, griffins, dinosaurs and Giant Bees (to be covered in) so This is basically the perfect survival game now.
Who wants to play it? I know nothing about private servers, if someone wouldn't mind helping me pick one, depending on price i could probably cover the costs, maybe?
So yeah, who wants to hang out, tame dinosaurs and build shit shacks?

The server hosts I've found, I'm not sure which is good, but here's a list on the ARK wiki with stuff
I guess personally I'd go with a server host that's updated frequently and supports easy mods and such, for when we want to mess about with that?
You have to pay a bit extra for custom mod support but it'd still be under $20 a month for that.
it's about twenty bucks Canadian, and i think the closest center to me is dallas. Which i guess works out fine for most everyone in north america?
Still would rather have more then like 3 people interested before pulling the trigger.

edit: it's 25 to do dlc or mods which is, less ideal. not a deal breaker though.

You cool with doing the ragnarok dlc? the map is unfinished at the moment which to me says "there will be new shit to explore every patch" and also there are griffins and frost wyverns. and beavers.
If people would rather do a mostly finished map that's fine too, but, griffins.

The Ragnarok DLC is free, as far as I know the only paid thing is Scorched Earth.

there has been the boss dragon for a long time, and wyverns got added in scorched earth, and ragnarok has frost wyverns.

so the original one had the broodqueen when I quit, I guess it's got a dragon and king kong now too
Do not get eaten by dinosaurs, tame dinosaurs, never go into the swamp, rule prehistoric kingdom, then suddenly wyverns, griffons, and alien laser guns.
Optional side quest of find and tame a kraken and become a terror of the sea.

Sometimes your pooping is interrupted by dinosaurs
