I was going to spend the free 4 star on Heracles. Which I don't need to worry about now. What 4 star should I pick up instead, to compliment what I've got? And what should I be focusing on here? Now that I have more things to choose from.

That's definitely a solid selection. Personally, I'd recommend picking up Elizabeth. You don't have a gold lancer yet (obviously, since she's the only one who exists right now), and she's pretty solid. Probably better than the Rider options, anyway (and there isn't a 4* Caster option). The other option would be Tamamo Cat; having two berserkers and taking a support berserker can be really handy for when you're doing any battle that isn't too difficult. They just smash things up so fast. If you go that route, it's not hard to fill your gaps with silver servants; Cu is a great Lancer, Medusa and Ushi are both great Riders, and either Medea or Cu are great for the caster slot as well.
As far as CEs go, the most notable ones right now are the ones that increase the amount of NP you start battles with (5* Kaleidoscope, 4* Imaginary Element, 3* Dragon's Meridian). And after those would be the ones that increase the power of a particular type of card (like your 5* Imaginary Around and 4* Projection). There's no real reason to merge them up until you have enough copies to max them (which requires 5 copies), since leveling craft essences isn't very important beyond the first ten levels or so. You should almost always max them when you can, though.

Once you have her leveled, try pairing Jeanne with your non-berserkers and see if that changes. She goes a long way in keeping people alive longer, and she has 3 arts cards, which make arts chains far more common. You could also try taking a support Waver sometime; his second and third skills both charge the party's NP gauge by 10%, and his first skill charges one of your characters by 30%. That alone will get them to 100% if you've got Imaginary Element equipped. Also don't forget about Carmilla's vampirism skill; it will always increase her NP gauge even if it fails to drain the opponent's.
Projection on Emiya and Imaginary Around on Carmilla are both good (and your best bet at the moment, probably), but it's a shame that they both have Buster-type NPs. Still, those CEs actually boost NP gain and crit star generation as well as the damage of those cards, so they are quite good.
So re-rolling now only nets you one actual 11pull, booo.

Consider yourself lucky. F/GO is a game where people who spend money usually still don't get what they want. I would know, although given that I did that when I was in Vegas, it was a great idea relative to everything else I did that week.

This is bound to happen eventually and is a big part of why 3* servants are actually pretty good. Robin Hood's NP is the strongest in the game right now at NP1. It is the stuff of legends at NP5.

Cu Chulainn is probably going to be my Lancer for the foreseeable future, yeah
EDIT: Hot damn, half AP daily quests for two weeks. Time to master level.
I find St. George to be an alright servant if you want to run with a lot of berserkers, but he doesn't contribute much beyond being a meatshield
also, you kind of need to find a way for your berserkers to survive after Georgius inevitably bites it and/or runs out of taunts
but Asterios is my husbando and I picked up a utility Herc as the free 4*, so up to the front you go georgie-boy, daddy's got to get himself some EXP-hands

Them introducing Holy Shroud into this banner made me sad because it was less of a chance of getting other good 4* CE
Anyway if you have everyone else I'd grab Liz, because she at least has niche use later on as an attack buffer for girl power squads once she gets Charisma of Sadism
Actually my real dilemma now is who to spend all these free skill upgrade materials they dumped on us on, I guess I could just start pumping up Gil's Charisma A+ (Though honestly as exciting as it is to get him, he doesn't entirely come into his own until his NP upgrade)

I vote Liz. She's just much better than Marie, and also is less redundant with what you are already using because Cu's NP is a single-target. Getting an NP upgrade for someone is certainly an interesting plan, but note that they give progressively less of a boost at each level (unless you are d'Eon, whose NP gets twice as good at NP2 and continues upgrading at the same rate).
As for who to level first, you can't really go wrong. I guess Vlad, because you can give him that kaleidoscope and let him unleash his NP on turn 1. Or Gilgamesh just because he's the new hotness and the only limited servant we'll have for a while.
Is Critical Star Gather Rate the English translation for Absorption to that character? Or is it generation rate?
How good is Artoria? I kinda still want to get and level a Nero for her sheer outlasting tankyness later on.
Is Lancelot worth leveling?
Should I create a Vlad/Tamamo Cat/Lancelot farm team?
Is there any place Holy Shroud of Magdalene is useful over the general +15% craft? Aren't tons of enemies genderless?
When's a good 4-5star Assassin releasing?
When do the mats to get REGEND his 3rd Ascension enter the game? I want to get him that sexy outfit and he kicked ass in both France and Rome for me, landing finishing blows on both legendary dragons and huge demons. He deserves a reward.

At this point I think your team is good enough to just pick whoever. I would probably lean towards picking up someone new over NPing someone but what the hell do I know, I just pick for waifus.
