As we get more of a picture of Contraptions, I sort of think back to the people who complained when it was revealed they would be silver border and felt cheated. Those complaints are kinda funny to me now, because Contraptions are crazy compatible with black-border. Nothing that references them is particularly goofy in what it asks you to do, none of the Contraptions themselves do weird things - you might not be able to bring your Contraption deck to a tournament but they're basically as unusual as Archenemy or Planeschase. The silverbordered nature of them is basically just so they don't have to try and balance them against everything in black border. It should be a way easier sell to play it with your friends than things like "oh i'm playing cards with 1/2 mana in their costs" or "i want to play these cards that let me slap you if you touch something the right way"
I was thinking roll a D6 and flip a coin (heads = 0, tails = 1) and add it up.
Don't think those odds are consistent. Im not gonna do the math here but if my stats class stuck at all that mean that 7 and 1 has only one possible combination (6, 1), (1, 0) while most other numbers have 2. That should cause numbers in the middle to be more common.
The answer for what happens if you do that is your opponent stares at you deadfaced and says "Really, Zachary? Really? This is how you're gonna do me?"
