"New Posts" inaccuracy

It seems that if I read a thread and then post in it, the thread list will consider it to have "new/unread posts," which basically means the post I just made. I don't know if the thread should be marked as read once I post in it, but it seems like the forum marks threads as read by the page...perhaps the last page should not get awarded "unread" status after I post?

    I have this problem from time to time as well. No idea what causes it.

    Do you use Opera? It happens to me, and if I force a refresh it usually fixes things up.

    Naw, I'm pretty sure I've seen it happen more than once myself.

    One of these days it will annoy me enough that I will probably fix it. It really is just an annoyance, though.
