    Oh, now we go diving. Linus has been made to reflect on what he considered that day at the edge of camp, the edge of the Dark Woods. Whatever he considered, whatever made him quail, now comes back to him, and now he's ready for the confrontation. Of course Malachi could not be more unaware of Linus's internal struggle, and we are only slightly better. There is a meaning to what Linus fears, or dreads, or suspects, which now may be confronted and, perhaps, made sensible and real.

    We're just going to have to watch and see.

    He's going to try to move the party into the Deep Woods, isn't he? I hope the other kids are okay with this.

    On the plus side, Proto-Kid will finally get to join in some camp festivities. Though... okay, who still has their shoes again?
