I got mildly overzealous on collection booking and recycling weapon schematics, I should have held on to some lower rarity stuff. I'm going to have to run some throwaway missions and farm rotating gizmos and active power cells.
Ha, yes, this is how I learned the importance of having some green recipes on hand.
It depends on the specific ninja I think.
But mostly Hit and Run Guerilla style.
Or be an idiot like me and stand in the storm trying to kill all the things with a sword, spin kicks and Dragon slashes. Then running away when my health drops to 500 or when there are Bees.
Mostly mulching husks en mass at chokepoints with dragonblade and smokebomb, diving Lobbers with melee, and jumping up onto stuff to snipe Tossers, Propane, Bees, or whatever so the Soldiers have an easier time shooting Mist Monsters and other meatier targets.
Well if it is any consolation they are worth a bit when transforming them, and you get all the resources you would if you had retired them as well I believe.
I think I'm ready for Storm Shield 6.. got my base built up but I was too tired to make the attempt before bed, I'll probably do it tonight after work around ~7pm EST if anyone wishes to join me for some sweet sweet mini llamas.

I hate Bees.
My legendary ninja is the shuriken version, which I found out you can throw shuriken while reloading. Pair with my legendary shotgun (I think it's a pump or tactical? Whatever this one is) and the 3 second recycle. Unload the shotgun, throw stars while reloading, rinse, repeat.

I think the reloading thing is a bug, it doesn't seem reliable. I can only do it when lagging.
How does the wiki not have a list if all the characters and their move lists? This is vital when the game asks me to pick a memory card for a hero during pinata time! I can't go look at my collection book for the unit stats!
So im level 23. Everything around my level gives shit all for commander xp. Its all green. When I go to the "Find me a random group" it suggests that my level is 40. Going to level 40 maps is doable, but I feel like im drastically dragging down my team. I am only 6 pages into the plankerton story, and my weapons can no longer be upgraded. My Hero is 26/30, my weapons are capped at 20 (3 stars won't give a benefit because my effective weapon cap is 20)
The only thing that really helps is commander level ups, which are sooo slow, and research points which are purely time gated.

As long as your weapon power level is similar to the power level of the zommonsters, I think things are fine.
The wiki seems to only have trait info for the Soldiers
The only one that has info when you click the individual soldiers. For all the classes if you go to the class page it at least gives info on all the traits there.
Proxy mine info:
You start out with 2, but after you use them, it will only regenerate one at a time (as in you can't ever get 2 stored again)
You can only place them at your feet, there is a short placement animation
The cooldown starts as soon as you deploy it
You can have multiple placed at the same time, at least up to 3

The bugs in this game are making some of the missions impossible to do. Just did an encampment mission and the encampments kept bugging out and spawning enemies beneath them so we could not actually kill them.

that happened to me once too. we managed to fix it by switching to melee or using the soldiers area effect skills

Another way to try to "fix" it, is you can get everyone to move out of range, the encampment will reset, so there's a decent chance that they won't spawn in the same spot.

The Headhunter soldier (I think) gives a really nice bonus to throwing stars - something like 30-40% added damage on headshots? So keep an eye out for that one.
I really wish that all the heroes had both squad and tactical bonuses, and I wish there were more options for a variety of weapons.
Also, I've got a legendary axe and I've tried using it and...axes are kinda bad? Not as quick as swords, not as much knockback as blunt weapons, so most enemies end up getting a hit in before you can kill them or knock them away.
There is a quest with a limited time bonus of 7 drops of pure rain.. I'm going to do that quest quick, grab some materials while I'm at it, and then toss out invites for storm defense maybe?
I'd paste what the link says but I can't even get their forums to load.
Fortnite Servers Down - August 2
Hey everyone,
Fortnite servers have gone down and the team is working on getting them back up now.
We will be updating everyone through our social channels as soon as we have more info!
UPDATE: We believe that our servers experienced a momentary outage, and are now recovering.
UPDATE: That was a rather short storm! Our servers are now live, and players can now login.
UPDATE: Xbox players may be still having troubles logging in due to xbox live just recently going down. Their issue is unrelated to Fortnite.
NEW ISSUE: Players have been kicked out of game and servers are experiencing issues. We are investigating the current health of the servers and will update everyone ASAP.
See you all in-game!

3-starred my Headhunter Soldier and I'm so happy throwing grenades, shockwaving, going commando, robot droning and air strike
I might add that one hero as Tactical for its grenades-do-damage-every-half-second-for-3-seconds ability; that would make my grenades double-pulse with after-damage
I think the best combination for Ninja Shuriken Master Sarah is indeed Urban Assault Headhunter in the Tactical slot for those +40% headshot shuriken damage, while in the Support Slot I might want to slot Skirmisher Edge because +12% increased energy regen sounds really good when your shurikens only cost 15 energy...
I wish there were "build slots" because when I want to tinker at my base, I use my Constructor but with the support guy that gives me 4% extra build cost reduction, while my Soldier has his fancy grenade or shockwave support, and my Outlander has this 3% more loot and possible the +12% harvesting damage.
But I often forget to change the supports... And upgrading bases isn't cheap, so every build reduction counts!
Ive been going through revolvers like crazy, thought it was pretty stupid. Well fuck my 2 star level 20. Time to level an LMG and toss my 3star outlander to the side for my soldier.

...fourth, already had one slotted in the collection.
If I'm on send me a whisper and I will help out.

Wish I had an epic hero, and would be particularly happy if it was headhunter because I am all about those traits she gets.
I don't know.
I have the Stonefoot gal and her stunning kick only stuns maybe 25% of the time.

Stuff like revolvers and bolt action snipers get SIGNIFICANTLY worse return on durability than fully automatic weapons.
