I googled "wizard cruise" and was sadly disappointed.
Although I did find out that Wizard World tried to make a cruise/convention I guess? In 2016.
Knowing how shit they are at running regular land-based conventions, if they tried to move it onto a boat I expect they'd figure out a way to accidentally give you Scurvy when they mailed you your pass.

Those burgers are good and there's always a huge thing of juicy caramelized onions to slap on top.

so I've been led to believe, anyway. unless you go to Alaska or something and then it probably is the same but with less sunshine and more grandeur

I thought i would hate being on a cruise before i went, but you can do as little or as much as you want. You can just sit in a chair on the deck and read out in ocean breeze if that's your thing. The food is usually good and varied and plentiful. I've only been on Carnival, but the staff will work their ass of to make sure you're having a good time. Usually by like, the second day your steward and usual waiter will feel like an old friend.
Also, barring bad weather, sleeping on a huge rocking ship like that is so soothing. Like being a baby again.

Okay, quick survey for the PAX-South crew, if you were interested in doing a cruise what time of the year would you want to do it during?
The best time is go in the Winter to somewhere warm, or the in summer to somewhere cool.
But if such a thing were to happen, I wouldn't be able to do it this year unless I stumble across a winning lotto ticket or something. My sister and I are getting my parents a cruise for their 50th anniversary this year.
You can pay a little bit at a time. That was how I sent my parents on their cruise. I paid the initial deposit and then did like...$200 per week? But that was via Priceline Cruises, not sure if it's the same policy elsewhere, but I imagine it is.

I was actually thinking winter, I just mean my school's fiscal year rolls over on July 1 and that's when we get our yearly allotment of sick and vacation days, so anytime after that is okay with me. And obviously not January because I still wanna do PAX South.

I would totally do a PAX Cruise. Hell, whether or not this idea manifests as an actual thing, I should just do a cruise. Get away from the goddamn internet for a while, expose my body to more than the incidental sunlight it gets on the way from my office to the parking lot right now, eat a ton of seafood, sounds fantastic all around.
