Instead it was someone with minor involvement in white-collar crime who had been depressed once many years ago and was completely mentally healthy and he was like wut why is this even happening
I was once stopped on a footpath by a police officer because there had been some attacks, but that was more as a "keep a look out" than a "stop attacking people"
that's a good sign
it would be a very bad sign, or at least a sign that you need to shave and get a new coat, if the police officer had taken one look at you and gone like "listen, before you say anything I know there's no evidence, but please, just stop attacking people"
