It looks like Garrosh has a strictly better version of Varian's Taunt, just from the video? I don't play Varian, what's different?
Guessing it's a much longer cooldown for the benefit of taunting an area

'Bloodthirst' seems a little boring, but I guess they can't all be winners. If they were going to add another major ability through talents that warrants a mention in the spotlight, they might as well have made that the W and have the healing attack be a talent.
Bloodthirst provides sustain, so it's pretty key to his base kit. As a talent that kind of thing either ends up useless or mandatory. As part of his kit it can be more balanced and have some interesting talents attached to it.
And making Body Check a talent allows them to ramp up it's power quite a bit over what a base ability can be because now there's an opportunity cost to the thing.
Hmm, would a combo of Into the Fray and D.va work? I think the mech still counts as a friendly model while counting down for self destruct, because you can chain and push it if you're on the other team.
Apparently the reward for being the Azmodunk MVP for a match is to be then matched up against a 5 stack and for your team to get crushed so badly they get zero kills. Never seen a 0 kill team on Azmodunk until that game. Ugh, that was miserable. Still took 15 minutes to lose too.
Wow, just not pleased with how I've been playing lately. I can feel myself struggling with the new heroes I'm trying and it isn't what I'd call discouraging, just...not fun. I don't like these heroes but I feel obligated to try and learn them for the sake of having options
Dibby what build are you using with Chen? He doesn't seem much different now despite the change. I never really had problems getting brew, the issue was the shield. While the change is nice, he still feels way too fragile and doesnt bring enough. SE&F needs the 2nd lifebar back
The stukov changes seem fine I guess. I didn't take the W talents at 1 so now I have a excuse to take the slow initially. Pox populi seems fine still. We'll see how everything shakes out but it doesn't seem to matter much.
Level 1's a free choice, I went with Grounding Brew in my game since I wasn't gonna get much value from Elusive Brawler (also it was nerfed too, so).
Bolder Flavor at 7 has incredible synergy with Deadly Strike at 4. You can more or less tap D, get a chunky shield immediately, and that'll proc the bonus damage on Q. That shit does like 470 damage at level 20, it's real good.
Keg if you can pull it off (and comp calls for it), otherwise SEF.
Secret Recipe at 20 if you need the sustain (and if you took Keg), Conduit if you took SEF and don't need the sustain.
The Brew change isn't so much about getting Brew as it is getting back into the fight that much sooner. With this you don't have to channel as long now, you can pop it for a quickie and you're back in there. And it's better against stuns and shit too.
If Chen feels squishy to you, definitely recommend Grounding Brew and Bolder Flavor. I took both of those in my game and I felt burly as fuck. Granted the enemy team didn't have burst, it was all sustain.
Also SEF does not need the 2nd lifebar back, that shit was ridiculous and was completely unpunishable :P
I typically pop SEF when I'm getting low, then wreak havoc while it's up, and run away as it's ending. It depends on comp too cause there's some Heroes that will shred your SEFs while against others you gain a lot of value.
That's essentially the build I go. Typically at 1 elusive brawler but as you mentioned it has problems, my go to used to be freshest ingredients but that varies by map. At 7 is the major difference, I tend to take brewmaster's balance. This is likely where the issue lies. Granted one game was against tyrande, valeera, Varian, some other stun so guess how that went. I'll have to try it with the change at 7

An ability to throw teammates over terrain or into enemy keeps? Seems like a GREAT idea!
Did...did this Official video just tell me that Garrosh's comparatively low health pool make him particularly susceptible to %hp damage attacks? w..wha?

Well, it said that his armor trait is useless vs %based dot because it doesn't care about armor.
Same with poison, it'll ignore his armor.
Not sure if it had anything to do with his health pool (since % based damage is considered better vs big health pools).
A bit disappointing to Grommash fans CURRENTLY that Garrrosh's second skin isn't Grom (as I don't see Grom coming in anytime soon what with Grom Jr.) but maybe one of the skin tints will be Grom like on his first one?
All things said, Garrosh does look neat though his lack of Self Mobility might be an issue. Than again, he's tossing around fools where he wants so that's pretty unique and could make it all ok!
But I just see a mass of Malth's being queued into the new Garrosh release like nutters.

So like, the thing here is that while he does have a low health pool, his trait gives him a bunch of armor, right.
But %hp damage ignores the armor. So he's rather susceptible to it. Because, despite a low health pool, x% of health is still x% of health. Malth's trait still deals 2.25%, Tychus's trait still deals 2.5%, and it completely bypasses Garrosh's trait. Think of it like, Anub'arak's susceptibility to autoattacks, right? Anub is tanky as fuck against ability damage despite a low health pool, but physical attacks rip right through him.
So it sounds weird to hear "well his low health pool means %damage is really good against him!", but again, you have to keep in mind that it's good against him because it bypasses his Armor trait. Every other type of damage in the game is going to be less and less effective against Garrosh as his health decreases; but not %health damage. Garrosh's EHP is actually quite high due to his Trait, but %health damage is True Damage/Chaos Damage/Whatever you wanna call it.
They look lame. Specifically the ult where he just spins around
Yeah, adding a trail or fire or something like that behind the swings wouldn't have been a bad extra affect to that one ult. It looks like a basic ability as is. The other ones look fine, though. No different than most warriors.

It lacks weight I think. It doesn't "feel" like it does anything
So is Garrosh going to be our first main tank with a Piano Key build? That's kind of neat and new. Also, 1% armor for 2% health seems kinda not enough, but I guess we'll see.

It depends on how much CDR Decimate has, really. If you hit 3 heroes and can basically just hammer R to keep spinning, you'll be by definition winning.

I have a question. I thought we would use stage striking to determine our stages for phase 1 at least, but it says we just ban 2 stages each. So how is the stage determined after each team bans two stages? And is there an order to that, or do we just send both bans we want in at the same time?

Like, don't get me wrong, I love that kit, but he's going to get clowned by mobility toons and interacts poorly at best with ones on his own team.
Gonna look ugly throwing, like, Johanna at people, though.
Also, eyeballing it, that appears to be a fairly short taunt.

It's 1 Armor for every 2% of life missing.
So, 80% life = 10 Armor
60% life = 20 Armor
40% = 30 Armor
20% = 40 Armor
So yeah, basically around 70-60%. He gains 25 at 50%, which is requisite for several talents.
