Also they lowered the bar for Legendaries in 2.0 so that you'd get crap ones from loot boxes more often. Butcherlisk was the one I remember people complaining about.

Since 2.0, legendary now denotes how much people want something, not the amount of effort (animations, sounds, etc.) that was put into the skin.
So is Garrosh going to be our first main tank with a Piano Key build? That's kind of neat and new. Also, 1% armor for 2% health seems kinda not enough, but I guess we'll see.
Ok, might post later but here's a quick idea of the extra survivability granted by Garrosh's trait.
I might do a more thorough analysis later, this is just quick a dirty. But you can see around the middle regions of his health bar it's like 10-20% extra damage needed to kill him.

Garrosh's missing health->armor is reminiscent of Artanis v1.0 design, where he'll be losing his first 50% of health a lot faster than the second 50% health. He's less blatantly encouraged to hover around 50% health like Artanis, but it's going to be far less efficient to heal him to full vs. leaving him down some amount of health. I wonder how that's going to play out in practice, since it was generally an unfun experience on Artanis 1.0.
I brought that up further up thread but as @Dibby reminded me, his kit has a built in heal within it, unlike artanis. And unlike Artanis, Garrosh doesn't have to continue fighting to get these benefits. Which is why, as the video suggested, Malf actually is a great healer for him.
Yes, I'm aware of Bloodthirst, but he (and any team healers) will still be needing to manage health and mana (well, not all healers of course). He's not as binary as Artanis, obviously, but the general idea that he'll be able to be poked down to half health relatively easily still remains.
Yeah, heals over time will play naturally better with Garrosh than most others.
Wait, why the everloving fuck is Zagara's desert queen skin considered legendary?
Because she has a dearth of skins
I agree they should make her a new legendary one!
They should make her a real legendary skin.
The skin has themed abilities. This means Hydralisk, Roach, Mutalisk, and Banelings have the Luxoria theme. That's 4 new models for one skin.
Yeah, but the Luxoria theme fell on its face hard. I don't think I've ever seen the Crypt King Tass skin and the Monkey Brightwing is purely a meme. It's just not an aesthetic that people get excited over. It's still a crap legendary for most people if they wouldn't want to use it over the base skin.

I opened the tassadar skin and it's all I ever use now. I don't think I'd use the zagara doing if I had it though. The giant hat master skin I'd hilarious. Plus I'm playing zagara because she isn't human. Granted the giant scorpion queen isn't human either but the human features detract from the character.

Zag's skin that makes her a creepy scorpion is better than the Desert Queen, IMO.

I like the Butcherlisk skin.
Again, Legendary now denotes perceived customer demand, not how much effort went into the skin. I think out of all the skins on the list, Butcherlisk is incredibly low on the list of whether or not something shouldn't be Legendary. It has themed abilities, which many Legendary skins don't. There are some that are literally just reskins with everything else exactly the same.
I feel like there's a conflation between not liking a specific skin and then projecting that onto the skin's rarity, and then projecting that onto the entire class of rarity.
Not everyone is going to like every skin, let alone every legendary. There is literally no change between 1.0 and 2.0 in this regard, because your option for not liking a skin was to not buy it.
At this point you're just complaining about getting something for free that you don't want when you would rather want something else for free instead.
If there's anything to complain about, it's that you can't actually buy something you want. That's the real issue.

Since 2.0, legendary now denotes how much people want something, not the amount of effort (animations, sounds, etc.) that was put into the skin.
Since 2.0 Legendary denotes "We don't have enough Legandary skins given the chance they have to drop in boxes, so let's just up the value of a ton of skins so that the loot table is bigger at the very top end. Also, let's do it to almost every single mount too."
Under the new regime though Butcherlisk is a reasonable legendary. It has, like, custom animations and shit.
But skin rarity is mostly a pile of bullshit these days.

It's worth noting that, according to Blizzard, his hp will be among the lowest of the existing warriors.
Custom animation used to be epic. Deputy valla has custom animations, new spell graphics, new sounds, etc.
Butcher has a different tint applied to his stuff, and his one ult has the different graphic, yea. But the real problem is all 3 tints are basically identical. The first one I got I wasn't super pumped about or anything, but hey it was new I guess. The 2nd one I thought I duped it was so similar, but at least that would have given me 400 triangles
If you're going to have tints not all come at once via purchasing, they need to be significantly different imo.
I honestly don't mind hero names in team names, but only if those team names can be abbreviated in some way. Like, I've always said I would want my tryhard team to be called Chinese Zagara Meta. It could easily be shortened to CZM, though. But like, it's pretty hard to abbreviate Don't Stop Be Li-Ming (DSBLM?), so we had to just call them Li-Ming, and that's where things got confusing.

I would've just called them "Don't Stop". I was really surprised you guys (and by "you guys" I mean Dibby :P ) kept calling them "Li Ming" even after you noticed how confusing it was.
Honestly I'm of the opinion that having hero names team names is a problem that largely solves itself - casters will avoid referring to them using the hero name because of the aforementioned confusion, which means your hilarious meme will basically never be spoken aloud, which gives your team no incentive to give yourselves a name that will actually never be used.
To use ducks's example, I would shorten Chinese Zagara Meta to CZM or CZ Meta, because both Chinese and Zagara are problematic. Which means that nobody will ever actually hear the team name outside of the very first time it is mentioned, along with the clarification as to why the name is being changed during the cast.

See the Abathur and Brightwing announcers. Which in my opinion actually are worth four times as much as the other announcers that I'll never care about.
125 dust shards in first chest
Epic Sgt. Hammer/Baby Rag skins in second chest
80 shards in third chest
Epic Slip 'N Stream Tracer in fourth chest
Rare animated Butcher spray and Emojis in fifth chest
Thanks Blizzard! 2.0 continues to be great!

The Abathur announcer is amazing.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I think all my heroes either have ETC, abathur, Diablo as announcers. The brightwing one was super underwhelming. Butcher has like a single actual line and really who cares about the rest.
I dunno if anyone else experiences this but I only really notice the announcer if I DON'T like them. So I was pretty aware of some of them, otherwise the lines just kind fade out and I'm not really listening to it. Then again I tend to not solo queue so usually I'm in voice.
I rotate between Brightwing for my announcer and Gazlowe (usually more Gazlowe). Love Travis Willingham anyway but the Gazlowe announcer's lines just seal the deal.
We had a couple of quick fun games last night as 4-stacks.
First game, the opponent had a character-level 10 player and we noticed this and just probably ruined their game experience.
I feel kind of bad about it because I targetted them but man that kerrigan had 12 deaths at the end. We completely dominated them, not losing a single fort and destroying them every single team fight.
The funniest part was that our rando pubby 5th was none other than @SeGaTai , which I didn't realize until the end.
He then grouped with us as @WingedWeasel deserted us and our next match which was on golem map.
We were doing well most of the game, Diablo just bodying people but the enemy was competent in not giving up too much xp.
Then we take a bad engagement near the end and 4 of us die. Some of us said "gg" as it really should have been over. Morale was low. Some started writing their goodbyes, some just stayed silent in disappointment with the unfairness of mortality. We hugged as we wait for the inevitable doom.... yet.... nothing happens. The enemy doesn't push!
We all respawn, mines are up, and decide to stick together. Zera stayed behind to clear catapults but the rest of us find enemy rag and anub in the mines and we obliterate them. We then skip mines and go core for the win!
One of the best parts was that we combo-ed zera's VP and Diablo's apoc pretty well about 3-4 times (after the first whif) and it was brutal. Good times, good times.
Yea I was full on pubbie mode yesterday, took most of that first match to realize it was you guys, was thinking these guys are awfully quiet, never pinging, but we are winning so whatever.
Never even thought about who you guys were playing and other ults to combo with void, just dropped it to get contain and completely forgot about dropping it early.
Much shame, woke up a bit after that. Also angelic diablos apoc being blue made it much harder to identify that combo for some reason

Ok, might post later but here's a quick idea of the extra survivability granted by Garrosh's trait.
This is how much damage is needed to kill Garrosh at a specific percentage of his health as compared to a normal character:
https://www.google.ca/search?q=y+=+(x/(x/200+0.5))+and+y=x+from+0+to+100&oq=y+=+(x/(x/200+0.5))+and+y=x+from+0+to+100&gs_l=psy-ab.3..35i39k1.4044.5028.0.5272.9.8.0.0.0.0.271.829.0j2j2.4.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..5.4.825.Uxx4geqermo
And here, perhaps more useful, is the extra survivability directly (ie - damage needed to kill Garrosh vs damage needed to kill another character):
https://www.google.ca/search?q=y+=+(x/(x/200+0.5))-x+from+0+to+100&oq=y+=+(x/(x/200+0.5))-x+from+0+to+100&gs_l=psy-ab.3...4899.9283.0.12008.4.4.0.0.0.0.134.446.1j3.4.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..0.0.0.5NHZG_nkGnE
