Anyway you could record yourself humming the song and put it on soundcloud?
Cause, unfortunately, tone doesn't lend itself to communication via text too well.
@No-Quarter
Not sure what kind of computer or device you're on, but I'll give it my best...
If you have a mic on your computer you should have some kind of application that allows you to record sounds. If you're using Windows try searching for "Sound Recorder".
Start recording, hum your tune, then stop recording and the application should open a save window letting you decide where to save it.
Go to SoundCloud.com and sign up for a free account.
Upload the file (the upload link is in the upper lft), and share the URL here.
Fake edit: huh, turns out SoundCloud has the option to record directly on the website, so I guess you don't need the sound recorder after all. So, if you're on a smartphone, maybe just download their app and go to town that way?

It better be this, where they're literally singing "doo doo," cause otherwise "Doo doo doo dooooo doo doo" could be anything from the sports "charge" song to the theme from Dvorak's 9th Symphony, 4th movement.
The last time there was a thread like this, I suggested using onlinesequencer.net to tap out the notes.

Could be Deadweight. Everyone forgets about it since it wasn't an album cut.
Despite the fact that New Pollution doesn't start with "Doo doo doo dooooo doo doo"
yes it does!
It starts with "Doo-doo d-doo doo doo doo doo doo doo", there's not really a held "doo"
(well, arguably the first one but I think that's more just because it flows into a joined "doo" :P )
I took the "Doo doo doo dooooo doo doo" to be kind of arbitrary vocalized 'Doo doo's' (lol)
I don't really disagree but when trying to identify a song on nothing but "doo(s)" the cadence and, honestly the pretty much wholly invented on the spot nomenclature, makes a pretty big difference.

edit:
alternately, Becks cover of Sound and Vision starts with that, but it's after about 5 minutes of instruments so that's probably not it
....
but listen to it all the same because it's incredible
