I've seen multiple parties posted at the Raygun, but last time I walked by it looked like an incredibly small venue. I don't know if you've physically been there, but much over 60 would have no oxygen left in the lounge. Its a neat place, but for a large gathering definitely lacks open space.

Nope. So please feel free to call me incorrect, as I may well be. I'm just going off of standard seated vs standing capacity changes. Honestly the fire code is going to be the limiting factor, and that may well be less than 100.

For those of you in Vancouver: I run a regularly-occuring chiptune concert series called OVERFLOW. Our next show is on August 30th - the Wednesday before PAX - so we're treating this as a PAX Pre-party before we all head down to Seattle! Our lineup features MEGA RAN + SAMMUS for a mega nerdcore hip-hop set; TOGETHER WE ARE ROBOTS for some gravelly chiprock; FREAKY DNA performing some of the music he wrote for Retro City Rampage; and UNICODE for some glitchy retro-house!

We're also featuring a few locally-developed indie game demos for you to try out while you enjoy the music - we've just announced that IKENFELL by Chevy Ray will be making its debut at our show! And more titles will be announced in the coming weeks =P

I wouldn't count on WotC anything. From what I have been seeing/hearing, it looks like they will have almost no presence at PAX this year because of the Hasbro Convention. Not sure there will be much outside of the Acquisitions Inc event for WotC.

The said the same thing about the WOT party last year and ended up letting people in after the RSVP's got in. I didn't get to the RSVP for this one before they closed, but we might just show up and see if we can get in.
