super fun deck. the lich king is NOT sticky: i have played him three times and he never survived a turn. my pulls from his effect have been disappointing, too: 'stole' a gluttonous ooze from one of these death knight warlocks that are going around in the late game. exactly what i wanted. but this is super good for the quest: usually by turn 8 the lich king is spawning barny. these new mid-range dragons are super good value and have great synergy with the druid quest in general.
now... to tear myself away... responsibility beckons... *gnnnh*
I think I realized something tonight: the way I want to play mage is the way I can actually play Priest. So, I'm going to put some effort into crafting up some of those cards.

Priest is just in a position right now where it does things that really interest me.
Shadow Visions is one of my favorite cards. Lyra is such an incredible legendary and it's so fun and satisfying to play. A bunch of the cards from this set seem mega fun.
I don't have some of the key cards but I think I can still make an interesting deck and kind of see how it plays out.

OK everyone's still laughing, but that's a finished quest out on turn 5!
I really do think Howlfiend was the missing puzzle piece for Quest Warlock. Dog was making that shit look good earlier.
Like, I guess the thing to look at is that Howlfiend seriously accelerates your Quest progress to the point where you can reliably finish by Turn 5, sometimes. Especially if you combo it with Defile (better with Defile+Malch's Imp for the draw engine), you can just rack up the quest progress.
Dog was using a very unrefined deck though, one that probably wasn't very good at all? But I could see the potential there and it was basically all from Howlfiend.
It might be good now.

I got Uther, Jaina, and Malfurion, which were the only ones I really wanted. Prologue gave me Rexxar and I opened Putricide so I might try to make a horrible Deathstalker/Secret list.
Gah, WTF. I fought a Warlock down to 4 HP and he farted out his evil Warlock replacement card and refilled his side of the board. And then he won two turns later.

I really wanted Uther and I'm not sorry. Didn't get him, crafted him, I've been pretty happy with him. Still feel like I need to finagle with that deck. I also wanted Jaina and got her, but I wasn't happy with my initial craft of her deck.
I also really want to try Warrior and Warlock, but didn't get them and I don't play a lot of warrior that I wanted to risk crafting him. Warlock's I will craft at some point, but I'm out of dust.
And after seeing her in action, I really want Rogue. Holy shit thief rogue with DK Valeera seems awesome.

I didn't really have a DK in mind, tbh. Uther looks really solid, and I do like playing Paladin. I'm not a huge fan of Rogue so I don't really care about Valeera, even though she's neat. Maybe Thrall? I got a bunch of really cool Freeze Shaman cards in my packs, looks like it could be fun.

You don't actually need all the cards I listed in that deck, that was supposed to be an ultra greedlord meme deck. You can cut out Y'shaarj and the C'thun pieces and sub in, like, the Dragon package.
Got 4 legends out of 66 packs. Two I was not that interested in. Hadronox and a warlock discard thing.
But I did get the Rot guy for Warrior that makes legends on damage, and the Anduin Death Knight. Which are both top notch.
The prologue DK I got was the shaman one. Eh.
But I should build something with Rotface and evil Anduin. I have a lot of dust though. I should be able to make 4 more legends and fill in some epics.
I wanted Valeera. I don't really see an Anduin DK deck that doesn't involve dumping a bunch of dust into priest which I have no real interest in doing.

Eh, it still sounds like I should be running Raza or Kaz, plus I'm missing I think four Epics I'd need to craft as well. Just seems like it's not worth it right now; I got DK Gul'dan, and also DK Jaina and Sindragosa, I'll probably look into building decks off of those tomorrow.
Was goofing around with a "play 30 Druid cards" quest. First game was against some joker with a gold deck, including the Lich King. Finishing the quest put me over 100 gold, so what the hell, let's roll the dice.
Tried this and went up against Priest after Priest after Priest followed by a control Paladin. Ripped all four apart. It probably sucks, but it was a lot of fun & the threats just kept coming. Defile and Despicable Dreadlord is so good. And yes, that is Malchezaar lol.
Critique it please, but, so far it's been a lot of fun. Probably going to rip out Void Terror or Arfus and throw in Kazakus.

Frost lich jaina vs regular uther turns your hero power into 2 mana give your opponent a water elemental. Of course my dk was in the bottom 5 cards of my deck. All good though cause paladin cards are just value central at the moment.
I expected Roll the Bones or Bone Baron to be my favorite non-Legendary cards coming into the set, just because I was excited to see what Rogue could do. But so far I think Despicable Dreadlord takes the cake.
I'm tempted to craft Lyra and Raza to go with this Anduin, but it feels a little weird to blow that much dust on earlier sets. I may break down and buy some packs.
So did I miss where it was explained that if a Yog donates itself to your opponent while resolving, the remaining spells also resolve for your opponent? Or was that not mentioned before?
Because that happened to me during a match (I was gifted the Yog) and it was baller AF.
Also I've been having pretty solid success with a very untuned Deathrattle Priest at rank 14.
