How do you all take screenies of your decks to post?
You can also check the OP for directions to use Muffinatron's auto-deck-image-maker, that uses the deck strings you can generate in-game. (third spoiler from the bottom)

In-game in the deckbuilder, there's an option to copy a deck to clipboard. It exports the decklist as well as a string containing the decklist information.

I don't think it'd be very easy for blizzard to calculate what represents a good or bad opening hand for a deck at all, especially considering that what constitutes a good or bad hand is matchup-dependent
the game harvests a lot of data. we already know from interviews etc that when a deck is played it's identified by common "clusters" of cards, essentially archetypes. looking at the VS reaper data, there are fewer than 20 archetypes played by over 90% of the community. i'm pretty sure with that much information on so few deck varieties, the data could paint an incredibly accurate portrait of which early draws contribute to an increased winrate in specific matchups
but even that's overcomplicating it. even if it just assumed on curve draws were good and off-curve / high mana draws were bad, and it nudged it in one direction or another to encourage streaks (win streaks and losing streaks are better for blizz than not), in most cases it's going to have the desired outcome.
Actually if you were attempting to manipulate winning and losing streaks the easier thing to be would be to fudge MMR matchups, not to have a computer programmed by designers who are bad at their game try to identify what's a good play in their game

lol, Reynad is winning with quest hunter so chat is spamming "ez small ez hunter ez"
Went 3-0 with a very 1-mana heavy Keleseth zoo deck for my warlock quest tonight. I think I'd seen Keleseth played against me one time so far this expansion.
So what was my first opponent tonight? A paladin who coins Keleseth turn 1. Beat him anyway with face damage before he could out-value me.
Second game was my only one of the three tonight where I saw my Kelseth, but thankfully I got to play him turn 2 against some sort of warrior with a pretty nuts opener vs. zoo (turn 1 coin Armorsmith, turn 2 Armorsmith; he ended up getting a dozen or so armor off of those bastards). Killed him anyway.
Third game was a miracle rogue who cleared my board pretty well turn 4. Then turn 5 karma hit him like a bitch. I had Doomguard and a Silverware Golem end of turn 4. My turn 5 draw was Silverware Golem. He was not able to recover from that nuts turn and I ended up finishing him a couple turns later.
So my last two nights of questing have been insane. 5-0 with non-standard decks and 5 games in a row without playing a druid.
Man that mage quest combo deck is annoying. Doing well, controlling the board, getting 'em down...and they ice block. Four times. Not much I can do against that. But of course when I play it I draw all the combo pieces first and no board control and get murdered immediately.

I was playing my Jade/Elemental Shaman deck in casual and ran into my old nemesis, deathrattle priest.
I honestly thought I was screwed until I managed to evolve something into Hadronox. Which, at that point, translated into two things from below, a hot spring elemental, and Tirion on the next turn.

The worst part is that that kind of opening isn't even uncommon in Druid.
It's crazy and I'm playing less and less. They should just rotate Mean Streets and solve the Jade and Pirate problem in one fell swoop. Just give everyone full dust and be done with it.
I had a jade druid on the ropes. Had a Hadronox out which I suicided to get out a massive board of taunts.
Druid only had 2 small minions on board and 2 cards left in deck before they fatigue.
Nooooooooope.
Auctioneer, idol and innervate, play sax music and he suddenly has a board FULL of 9-9s and up, and is nowhere near hitting fatigue again.

I still get unreasonably angry when my aggro deck gets blown out of the water by a turn 5 Kazakus potion so I'm good with trashcanning all of MSoG.
We aren't trying to create control hunter in the same way that control priest or warrior exists. It takes away from class identity when we make all classes similar like that.
We will keep making unique hunter cards like lock and load but Taunt and healing to win in the late game is not their style.

MSoG is literally the reason why we're having this problem right now
Jade Druid is a holdover from MSoG, cards were printed that ended up making that deck better
If Jades were gone, would Spreading Plague and UI actually be okay? Maybe. But also maybe not, maybe they'd still end up being awful oppressive pieces of shit.
But at least Jade Druid wouldn't be warping the entire meta around itself. Druid would hopefully just be A Class With Some Good Cards, not The Souldestroyer Worldrender Godking Lordemperor.

Fun fact: You can still keep Hunter's natural identity and its natural-leaning archetypes! Those can still exist! But why not also try and push a new and different archetype as well?
Like hello, Aggro/Pirate Warrior? That's not "Warrior's natural identity" at-fucking-all! And yet it exists, and it was pushed, and here we are. And nevermind the fact that they've kept trying to push Aggro Priest for a good while! Remember Shadowbomber? Spawn of Shadows? How about Shadow Ascendant????
So fuck it I'm all for trying out wacky new weird shit and seeing where it goes. Diversify, don't box classes into a corner.

I think is right. When MSOG released Jades were kind this second tier sort of fun but not super consistent deck, and it wasn't really something to be concerned about unless you were playing some ultra slow grinder deck without proactive play.
But now we've reached that point where Ungoro and KFT released cards that make Druid better AND shore up the flaws in the Jade decks so now there's no real way to deal with that deck.
"Win before turn 6" is not a strategy and it's not even that effective anyway since they've got 10 mana by t6 and will lock you out with taunts or armor and still draw their whole deck.

Jade got worse with Un'goro, though. The deck was ridiculous with Brann because you'd have draws that would wipe the floor with midrange decks by pumping out 7/7 jades on turn 5. It just took like a month after MSoG's release to get a refined list (people were often running it with 0 or 1 auctioneers at the start, for example).

Biggest problem I see with that philosophy is how constrained the defensive design space is. You can explore different secrets or spell effects. But without armor, healing, or taunts - what else is left? Hand disruption is a non-starter. Multiple board clears probably creates a deeply negative play experience. Efficient pinpoint removal is an option, but isn't part of hunter's identity. And then how do you deal with swarm strategies like Token Druid that are resistant to both?
By their very design aggro strategies are meant to be more consistent and better able to leverage early game tempo and damage into wins. It does no good to finally stabilize the board, if you're you so far behind you lose to any minion that isn't immediately killed (or to any random burn like swipe or fireball).
Without life gain and taunts as a reactive response to early game aggression, the only option would be a proactive response of some kind. And proactive responses are severely limited in this game - by design.

They were running 0 or 1 auctioneers at the start because that's how jade druid was played before ungoro. The ungoro archetype of cycling through the deck asap and revving up the infinite jade engine was not viable before earthen scales and primordial drake, jade druid used to be played as a midgame tempo deck with 1 auctioneer as a win condition against fatigue control decks.
So in that sense, jade druid became much much more toxic during ungoro. And now it has gone to the next level.
