Seems to be a Moulin Rouge-esque movie based off The Beatles.
It could be fantastic.

A love story set against the backdrop of the 1960s amid the turbulent years of anti-war protest, mind exploration and rock 'n roll, the film moves from the dockyards of Liverpool to the creative psychedelia of Greenwich Village, from the riot-torn streets of Detroit to the killing fields of Vietnam. The star-crossed lovers, Jude (Jim Sturgess) and Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), along with a small group of friends and musicians, are swept up into the emerging anti-war and counterculture movements, with "Dr. Robert" (Bono) and "Mr. Kite" (Eddie Izzard) as their guides. Tumultuous forces outside their control ultimately tear the young lovers apart, forcing Jude and Lucy – against all odds – to find their own way back to each other.

if you're shitting on the beatles it's like saying I outright refuse to listen to anything popular ever
Seriously.
They are absolutely terrible.

That and bad teeth.

I do not do it to be different, I listen to Led Zeppelin and stuff
But I can't really get into them. I don't think I'd ever buy a CD of them, but that goes with a lot of bands.
well, not really
you don't always have to try to get a snappy one-liner out, you know
I think they released one song for everyone. I know people who dont like The Beatles in general, but really really like one or two songs they did... Which I think is pretty hip.

Pretty much all albums do. Maybe not a running story, but most songs have something in common on an album.
Most of those songs were written within months of each other by the same people, for the most part.
Oh yeah, this sounds awesome.
MAN
Who the heck here is born or is alive during the 1960s (60-65) dogg.
they had as many drugs as they could get their grass stained hands on and then when they get too old to do em they're all "ban em!"
It kind of takes the piss out of the whole mythology.
And it anyone is even considering seeing this movie, save themselves the trouble and buy the uncut version of The Dreamers. It's a nice bit of nostalgia, with some excellent directing and a full blown Sergio-Leone-close-up of Eva Green's vagina.
Everybody wins.
Eddie Fucking Izzard.
A dude I used to work with had this cd that was nothing hut celebrities doing horrible Beatles covers.
The Bad News: I heard a rumor that the studio recut the film.
did it have shatner's Lucy in the Sky?
Because woah.
god fucking damn I hate Bono
