If Pence doesn't try to Primary him first.

If 'Pub voters hate Trump enough to pick someone else, it sure as hell isn't going to be the politician most closely tied to Trump.

Not that it would stop Pence from trying.

Honestly... I don't think he wants the job. Because if he did, now would be the time to strike.

Nah, Trump's base is still on his side. The GOP still fears a war between the teapers and the establishment.

I don't think there is a gop establishment anymore. What were the condemnations? A few senators and one fox contributor vs. all the rest of mealy mouthed 'both sides are the same'.

the gop establishment is the tea party even if they don't directly call themselves members of the tea party.

    Technically it's the Prebius/Pence side.

It's the money guys' side. They're still out there. We just don't hear about them until they do something overt.

Sounds like some have been grooming Pence for the presidency.

We're reading Rifts. You should too. You know you want to. Now With Ninjas!

They tried to bury us. They didn't know that we were seeds. 2018 Midterms. Get your shit together.

The money guys know good and well that all the money in the world won't sway the actual voters though and the voters are the tea party.

Trump is the only thing in the GOP that you could really make a case wasn't their direct creation.

They usually do, that's a return to the status quo.

The GOP establishment got fucked by unleashing unlimited donations into the political system. They thought it would harness the wealth of the business and investor community against the Democrats - and it has - but it also created multiple fiefdoms warring for power within the party. And, as it turns out, some of the billionaire kingmakera are radicalized morons who do more harm than good.

Frankenstein's monster is more a reference to the voter base, in general, or the runaway narrative that has seized them.

The Fremen / Muad'dib scenario is the better comparison for Trump. The Teapers created the prophecy of an Outsider who would come save them, Trump just used it.

"A lot of people say I remind them of this Muad'teap guy, what do you think? Is that me or what?"

The objectivist narrative driving the Teapers may be unkillable, but they could still be shown that their purported prophet is a false one.

    Unless he isn't...
Did you know I'm also the Kwisatz Nevertax? Not a lot of people know that.
    Good genes, I guess.

I'd say Trump is clear evidence the Tea Party has grown completely out of the control of the money men.

Because he actually is sometimes beholden to outside pressure. He didn't want to fire Flynn, nor probably Bannon or anyone else he made concessions to McMasters/Kelly/Mattis over. He would probably appreciate someone shouting that they're a bunch of big meanie heads and Trump shouldn't let them control him, because he's afraid to do it himself.

I'm curious if the generals are imposing father-figures to him.

(I was doing a bit about how the Dems are nearly non-entities st the moment)

Because the Dems didn't take away Bannon's sacred Presidency. Gen Kelly and McMaster and Kushner did. He left sounding extremely bitter and defeated and his website has already called out the aforementioned people as his enemies and now he's free to smear them all like he's always wanted to.

They want to slavage the Trump presidency. The way they see to do that it to get Trunp to fire his "shitty globalist establishment administration," and replace them with alt-right, ethnonationalist fucks.

But still supports the side he wants to win anyway, making the whole thing a massive waste of resources and everyone's time - as seen by Ivanka's casino career

Trump is attempting to bargain with Bannon. He's hoping that by openly praising him and making him look good, Bannon will retain some loyalty to him.

I can't help but wonder that in the wake of the Nazi debacle Trump and Bannon (mostly Bannon) thought that the smart move would be for him to go back to Breitbart in order to help reform the alt-right's public persona. His entire schtick is about making the utterly despicable palatable to... well, if not the masses, then a pretty large population. With the mask slipping on the movement, it seems like this is a blatant move to rescue it.

So a few restarts and 50 turns later I have the North under my control. Suthra Ek is still around, gutting my with his single half stack. Once I catch up he's done for. Then there's 2 one province tribes that I can take when ever.

It's nice to be so remote that you don't have to worry about defense. I think I'm going to boom up and try to hit the Empire, Kislev and Brettonia with three separate stacks.

    Edit: D'oh!

They're out in full force flooding reddit, at least. The narrative seems to be "every organized opposition to us is actually violent thugs"- the targets being antifa and BLM mostly.
