All-day meetings rolling into dinner meetings leave no time for fun, y'all.

    @Mojo_Jojo

We are concerned with you buddying up to the plants infesting space next to you, especially given your desire to "direct your attention elsewhere." I can only assume that means in my direction.

What assurances can you provide that I am not your target?

The Jol Narr are noble space fish of science, we care only for progress not petty wars. No other alien species is currently in the cross hairs.

Although I'm happy to take a payment of trade goods or one of your promissory cards if that will make you feel better

Jol-Nar's got a lot of potential to passively sweep up a lot of objectives if they're just left to their own devices, y'know. Also worth noting, the most aggressive objectives are the ones in the secret objective deck, so getting those additional points will often lead to butting heads.

But bear in mind that fancy promissory card (currently held by the increasingly less friendly wormhole ghosts) really helps everybody else climb that ladder towards objectives.

Also we're bloody terrible at flying our tricked out battle goldfish bowls so we'll leave the warring to other, lesser, races

I disagree that I'm being increasingly unfriendly! We talked about working together against the plants, and then you started buddying up to them. I'm the only other option for your expansion, and you are moving your forces closer to me!

How else should I read this, @Mojo_Jojo ?

    :)

No, I hadn't planned on taking the Fighters to Creuss; I thought that Fighters beyond your capacity limit are counted against your fleet limit (3), and I've got 3 ships in the Sakulag system: cruiser, fighter, fighter.

Is that the case only with the Fighter 2 upgrade?

Yep, fighters require capacity and are destroyed if they don't have it until you have the upgrade that lets them do without and count in your fleet limit

Take the secondary for a strategy token
Use racial to take the primary
Claim Graviton Laser System and exhaust all remaining planets for six resources to also take PDS II

@Elvenshae you can now hand back the promissory card to claim either of those technologies too

Page 14 of the Learn to Play book on capacity
The number of fighters and ground forces that a player
has in the space area of a system cannot exceed the
combined capacity of that player’s ships in that system.
For example, if a player has two carriers in a system,
each with a capacity of “4,” that player cannot have a
combination of more than eight fighters and ground forces
in the space area of that system. Ground forces on planets
do not count against this limitation.

If at any time the number of a player’s fighters and ground
forces in the space area of a system exceeds the capacity
of his ships in that system, the excess units are destroyed.
During combat, a player’s fighters and ground forces can
exceed his ships’ capacity, but at the end of the combat,
    any excess units are destroyed.

It's only the Fighter II tech that lets them act independently (move on their own and not require capacity).
