People are guessing that it’ll be Viera. Yoshi P’s latest Mysterious T-Shirt featured Bugs Bunny on a motorcycle. Which could mean a rabbit race, or a number of other things. Could even be a weird pun, like how Spider Man hinted at Samurai.

Man, some folks are (during the speculation of how much of an actual job Blue Mage will be) arguing that regardless of how you end up getting the spells, Blue Mage can't be a job that eventually has a skillset that works like an ordinary combat job without betraying some core essence of what makes it Blue Mage. And like, I'm sitting here, a guy who has played like 5 games in the series with Blue Magic (including my first game and my favorite one), and I find myself just plain baffled by that sentiment. Like, did I miss something about the job in all this time? Is it that important to some people to have an unbalanceable number of different spells, moreso than the fact that they're monster spells at all?

All you needed to is not have stuff like Level 5 Death. There are so many other blue Magic skills, classic and new, that could work in actual content.
What's really weird is that the slide says "while blue mages can learn abilities while in parties", so they can be in parties? What is the Masked Carnivale?

In FF12 the places Viera are from are specifically referred to as Greatwoods. They also do the whole tree top village thing.
