Ah, that makes sense. I'm really hoping to see the next Amazon coin special where you get like 15% back for what you spend to fill in some gaps in my collection.
I feel like the “optimal” way to play Milhouse is just to slap him down on turn two, try and trade 2-3 for one and hope the opponent didn’t draw some big spell.
I also wouldn’t draft him under basically any circumstances but if for some reason you do, might as well hope to highroll with him

Heartharena has him at the top of their "Below Average" tier. There are two tiers under that. How is that possible?
Is it just that, on average, arena decks have fewer spells, so over a large sample size you get enough value from playing a 3 mana 4/4 that it outweighs the times you get completely screwed by it?
Like, how does it beat out Deathwing 2.0, which is, at worst, a 10 mana 12/12?
Whatever they're smoking over there at Heartharena, I want some of it.
Ran into a Razakus Priest roadblock at rank 7. Not sure what I can tech into Zoo to deal with them. 5/6 games have been Razakus and I can't get far enough ahead on Board to make a difference.

Something I've always wondered: does your opponent know if you've squelched them? Like, does it make them unable to emote, or do they just emote into the void and you never see it?
Eight cards in hand (after tapping). Two of them are Soulfires. The Quest Mage has frozen my board, but has seven life and no Secret protecting him or her. I have an 86% chance of flat-out winning the game and getting rank 5 on my alt.

So my personal experience is Zoo Lock beats everything but Razakus Priest. I haven't lost a game to any other class.
I've found it loses to Tempo Rogue. Keleseth too strong if they draw it first, and they've got enough removal to at least fight you if you draw it first.

I think I am over extending into board clears against Priest. I am trying to get value through multiple minions on the board when I should be sitting on 2-3 good minions.

I don’t see a huge problem with spending a lot more money to get a specific card, I can go to my FLGS or eBay and do the same thing with MTG.
Now, if this card is competitive AND a limited, then we’ve got a potential problem.
You should be able to craft it after, but I think getting a specific legendary guaranteed is kinda crappy since you can't do that in Hearthstone in any other way. (Unless it's a meme card.)

I'm pretty sure it greys out the speech bubbles and you can't click them. I was squelched on T1 once I think (either after I said "hello" once, or straight away, it was very quick). Or else it was a connection issue, I have a lot of those but I haven't seen a connection issue do that before or since.
Anyway, the greying out sucks, the person ought to be able to waste time fruitlessly emoting*. I think it ought to only squelch it on your end.
*this also happens every time you emote, squelched or not.
You guys say squelching doesn't affect your opponent, but a guy once squelched me SO HARD that I actually lost my "Sorry" emote, and to this day, it STILL hasn't come back.
I'm down for a Pirate-themed expansion. One last hurrah for Patches and hopefully a lot of free BOOTY

My bet is the next expansion will be adorable creatures. Stormwind and Orgrimmar are holding pet adoptions, each hero gets a pet legendary that triples the effectiveness of hero powers, Mr. Bigglesworth returns as a 10/10 card.

Huh. I hit Rank 3 today (started at Rank 4) and I literally didn't even notice.
I guess that's a good thing. Means my ladder anxiety is completely gone. I can keep hitting that Play button without having a pit in my stomach each time I queue up.
Also helps that I'm not aiming for Legend or anything. I'm just playing the game. Aaaand I just so happen to be winning, a lot.
Welp! I'll see what happens. Gonna keep playing like normal and see how far I get.
Also I know that we - and I specifically - have covered why it's not that uncommon for things like Hearthstone and MTG to hit concepts at a similar time, but come on now, this is just getting silly

Well, maybe if opponent is top-decking and you're not? Though those games tend to be pretty one-sided one way or the other at that point.
Incidentally, Millhouse used to be a lot better in arena before spell offering rates got buffed. Still not great, but way more playable.
