Did Destiny previously take your time away from other media you wish you had spent your time consuming or other activities you wish you had been doing?
Did it provide a fulfilling, pleasant, and absorbing way to spend your hours which is sorely needed during a fairly transitional and stressful time for you?
I suspect the answer to both is yes and you kind of have to weigh one vs the other. But I'd say the second is more important and you should definitely play Destiny 2.
there are some really good games I'd also like to play, like Hellblade and Horizon, and I always felt like Charlie Brown and the football with Destiny--always getting made to look stupid, yet always getting back in line for more--so I don't know
Maybe I'll get the pre-order tonight and not play it

I really enjoy this sort of thing: I've had a random stream of Quite Interesting on the past 2 hours and they've been playing the big fat quiz of the XXs. The 80s one brings up Oops Upside Your Head by the Gap Band which has a silly dance. Just now doing errands the throwback station was doing a mega mix had Oops Upside Your Head in there as well. I know it's just Baader-Meinhof, but good times.
Hooray my husband is escaping Cape Cod in order to be back this weekend in time for my birthday
...however this means that the evening I have scheduled will now have 6 people instead of 5 and I wanted to play games. I just bought Codenames and I have Pictomania; does anything else come to mind with that level of casualness and quality that is good for 6?
I guess Coup is pretty good. Oh right and Citadels is good. I don't love hidden role games though. Anything else crucial that I'm missing?

hello yes my return to campus was very good and I love hampshire so much and I saw lovely people I haven't seen in months and was given sad gay poems and sad gay comics and also Angels in America aka a Sad Gay Play, courtesy of my friend The Actual Angel Gabriel, and hugs and warm thoughts from so many people and it was lovely out and then I went to therapy and that was good

Nope only 5, as is smallworld. Dominion+Prosperity or other expansion can sort of do 6 but is sort of better as two groups of 3 and also all of it is in Philly and can't make it to DC in time.
