Had a plan to try and do one on reset night to see if we could get a blind group together. But I suppose if we can get a blind group tonight with people who signed up, could work just as well?

Giving less progress on the Crucible CTA for a loss really doesn't incentivize "actually playing this stupid thing". Went from "oh, like 9 matches, that's not bad" to "this will take a while", and honestly, I don't see that much point.
I'm pretty sure that's not exactly the case. The % seems to depend mostly on the number of kills you get. I've seen it pop mid-match right after a kill.

Dang, our raid group bashed our heads against the dogs for 3 hours with no progress. That encounter can be really frustrating. Try it again next week I guess

I think I figured it out. They switched the matchmaking between Quickplay and Competitive around such that Quickplay matches are now 3-4 stacks vs you and Competitive matches aren't. Or that was my experience today.

Yeah, everybody's grouped up trying to finish their milestones in quickplay to get access to Trials. It's pretty silly you have to do it for each character as well.

is there any way to just group message online clan members to see if anybody wants to group up?
At between 6-8% per game, I can safely say that no engram is worth having to be exposed for this long to people who willingly name themselves something like "kushkilla420".
Spent the afternoon basically running from public event to public event to level up (also because I needed do so many to open up the fractured arrow ability. Finally hit lvl 20 so I can take advantage of the faction reward engrams.
When do I open up the speeder bike things (forget what they are called), is that a story achievement? I'm only up to the IO mission there.
Edit: also is there a trick to the legendary weapons that are only like 10 power, or are they just good for dismantling?

The point of having only 10 power to start is to avoid pay-to-win with the bright engrams and to actually make sure you do the legwork to infuse it to a higher level with the stuff you get for free. So, not it's not just good for dismantling, because of infusing it can be made just as good as any other item.
Just remember that half the people you meet are below average intelligence.

just need to have done it once(on that character?), doesn't need to have been this week. i finished the milestone this week doing Trials.
EDIT: also i guess a couple of folks from the Xbox clan got 7 wins cause there's an engram waiting at Hawthorne. :biggrin:

each location NPC will have 4 per week that can be repeated.
I think they show up as activities at each locations 'person' once you've completed all of them on a planet.

The point of having only 10 power to start is to avoid pay-to-win with the bright engrams and to actually make sure you do the legwork to infuse it to a higher level with the stuff you get for free. So, not it's not just good for dismantling, because of infusing it can be made just as good as any other item.
