Gary and KT: part of the issue is that it isn't just having someone comfortable with the hero but 4 other people comfortable with the hero being on the team alongside the ability to get a comp they will work in. A common refrain is hero pool depth.
I killed poor Waffles a number of times on Friday with well-meant pick off throws, yeah.

No, Friday, when you asked me to stop throwing people at you while you were on Jaina.

Oh yeah. I remember that game as Jaina. Was not a fun Jaina game.
As soon as that Frost Nova goes down just throw Rexxar gigantic fucking area stun down over anyone in the thing and KT will just fucking explode people.

I think you certainly can, but I prefer not to, personally. I fee like his healing is pretty anemic in the early game, and that the majority of his utility is tied to his movement speed aura. I like him as a second support for that reason. The comp we played in the game I posted above? I feel like that's just about the best possible team you could have: Arthas and Jaina both slow everything they touch; Arthas and Garrosh both benefit tremendously from bonus movement speed; Stukov is a great primary healer, especially with Lucio filling in the gaps (Lucio also has Sound Barrier as a general on-demand burst of mitigation); etc.

Lucio's healing is entirely based around his lvl 16 mandatory talent imo. The whole key is to survive till 16 and then Rejuvawhatever + Upgraded Sound Barrier at which point your team becomes virtually unkillable.
I've always wanted to look into streaming and would like to try lending my voice to commentary at some point. If I bother to set up a system I can look at how high I can have settings, my computer isn't great by today's standards but it isn't bad still.
I used to do a very low-fi stream when I was drafting Solforge regularly; the community loved to collaborate on those. It's not that hard to just get something going people can watch, but taking it to like Bludgeon-tier takes some work.
Thanks Auralynx, that's really nice of you to say! I'm really only just getting started though, after years of wanting to give it a try. Jookie, OBS is the program a lot of people use to capture/stream and it's fairly easy to set up. My advice to you is the same advice I've been trying to follow myself, which is: If you want to do something, or be good at something, just start doing it. Load up a saved replay in the "Watch" tab in Heroes, and just try commentating by yourself (record it if you want, or don't, doesn't matter). You can set up an Observer keybind profile, and get used to using the controls while commentating.

Thought it was funny today. Squeeze and I were playing a game and we had a really bad Nova. I then told him, "Here. I'll show you how to play Nova" and we went to a Tower of Doom (Gravekeeper vs Raven Lord Map?) where we were down at 16-36. I got my level 17 talents and we went crazy burst mode and ended up keeping the enemy team permanently dead and managed to recover winning at 12-0. We then went on to a few more games where I progressively got worse and worse as Nova. It was bad/embarrassing. Then I went Varian and avenged my dishonor!
I don't know why it screenshotted my second screen, lol. But hey, there it is. I HAVE THE POWER.
Hey, just FYI for you (and anyone else that might not know), when you hit the PrintScreen key it takes a capture of your entire screen, which includes multiple monitors if that's your setup. However, if you hit alt-PrintScreen, it only takes the capture of the active window. So a game window or whatever else you might have open that is the active/selected window, so in this case it would have just captured the HOTS game screen.

Did Chromie get mega nerfed or am I just a bad Chromie? Feels like I tickle people. This is not the chromie I remember.
Ehhh, yes and no?
They really missed the mark with her rework and undershot the fuck out of her initially. They have since buffed her Sand Blast quest from 80 hits to 60, and she's in a better spot now.
The thing is like, post-rework Chromie relies on completing her Sand Blast quest. If that's not getting completed and stacked up, you're not gonna be doing much damage.
Is she still too weak? Umm, hard to say. I still think pre-rework Chromie was definitely better and in an actual really good spot, though, so.

Yeah she's much more dependent upon completing that quest in order to be viable. It's a less-pronounced version of KT's trait.
But once you're done she's technically stronger than pre-rework.
Also, I haven't touched NuChromie yet so I can't really impart any tidbits of wisdom beyond just general stuff though
But I feel like maybe I should? I've always always been good at landing my Qs with her.
Plus she still has the broken-as-shit Bronze Talons!
But yeah, I think like... Chromie's skillfloor was effectively raised even higher with her rework. Her damage starts off lower, but has a MUCH higher potential as the game goes on. If you're good at landing Qs, you can most definitely deal more damage than before.
like, i have played a decent amount of zeratul, and i have watched a lot of hgc zeratul, and i almost have no idea how he even moved to some of those places. whole nother world.

I love the story (rumor? whatever) that when he signed with MVP Black they required that he remove his Enter key so he would stop talking in chat because he was so toxic.

Yeah back when I was sim racing in a league I used to make TV-style race videos with commentary. I wrote a program to analyze the race videos and control the camera to point at the interesting parts and add the overlays but it still took several hours to produce each one.

Wormhole? :P
I mean no one picks it usually but it's there! It exists! It's really really good with Cleave build.
I played several matches with Rexxar yesterday. I really like him, but I'm not sure what he brings to the team compared to other tanks. I'm starting to get better at controlling the bear but I'm not sure I'm helping my team (my damage soaked is usually nuts but i assume a lot of that is due to having two bodies.).

Bear is a giant pain in the ass that stuns constantly. That's really I think the main thing Rexxar brings. He's got slows and control too via his Q and one of his ults. He's also a pretty darn good jungler and he can hold points really well on several maps because he can soak the lane and hold the point or just hold the point at nothing but the cost of healing the bear.
He's a terrible main tank except sometimes in QM. But I think he's a solid secondary tank in the right comps.
Just remember that Misha is like a boss and Rexxar is her weak spot.

Yeah, the main thing Rexxar brings is just a ton of CC and extremely safe jungling if his team can distract the other team to prevent invades (or can get a high DPS squishy to burn down the boss while Misha just doesn't give a shit).
Rexxar is a pain in the ass to solo lane against because he's...not solo. Unless you can ignore Misha and just kill him you won't have a very fun time. He's really obnoxious on Braxxis because he gets to take command over a solo lane as well as have a control point to fight over.
rexxar is fantastic on maps like dragon shire and braxxis. but God help you because you need to play 10x better than everyone who ever played hots combined because your teammates will turn into a fucking tilt-a-whirl

My takeaway: I've played more Lucio than Ducks has. Crazy.
You can primary him, which I'm sure you've caught on HGC games, in the right comps. Lucio and Arthas are best buds, for example.
Lucio's healing is entirely based around his lvl 16 mandatory talent imo. The whole key is to survive till 16 and then Rejuvawhatever + Upgraded Sound Barrier at which point your team becomes virtually unkillable.
I'd still love some fun Jaina builds. I've been mostly doing this one.
