Weren't all 3 of the armor options on Xur's first trip quest rewards? I guess that's less awkward since you'd have to run 3 toons of the same class to get all of the gear but I'm happier with the weapons being part of the pool than be forced to run 3 guardians to complete the collection.

i guess on the one hand infusing a 266 when you get to 270 and infusing a 10 when you get to 270 is exactly the same
like it's annoying they currently come out at 10 but other than if they were higher than your light level, where they come out is pretty unimportant
For people already higher than raid level sure, but I believe the system was originally intended to help clans fill raid spots by helping to boost clan power level for people who don't necessarily get to raid.

Yeah, so far the Wing is the only pulse I've used that seems worth a damn but it takes up your exotic slot soooooo IDK about it. Seems good for PVP at least! Looks fuckin' weird when using it, like it's too long or oddly distorted.
I have been really liking the Nergal PR4. It's got a nice right of fire and impact and it's full auto.
It's the best PR I've found but I don't have a vigilance wing. Plus it's not exotic.

It is basically the Prestige Nightfall version of this strike, the best tip I can give is to bring a Hunter with Celestial Nighthawk, when the Prism is Solar you will do 47k damage to the boss with a precise shot. that will be 2/3 of his life gone in an instant and he will skip the first tower phase entirely.
We need one more for the Raid Exotic Quests' Strike if anyone is on that step.

Three Poledancers will be an insta-kill as well. Or two Poledancers and a Sparky Titan, assuming the Titan remembers he can fist of havoc.

Banshee gave me two kinetic +5 LL mods back to back too. I really feel like there's some window of time involved in the RNG turning things in where you get dupes, which would explain how I had 5 or so FWC scouts and so on. I got the FWC hand cannon, been using that and sunshot on the hunter, just flipping back and forth. Not sure it makes sense for hard content, but for screwing around doing public events with the Lucky Pants it's a lot of fun.
I wanted to do some more cargo hold token farming for Dead Orbit...but goddamn i'm sleepy so Arach Jalal will have to wait until tomorrow morning.

I like the True Prophecy because it actually flinches your target twice. Once with the initial shot and again with the stutter step explosion. It's different than better devils explosive rounds because the damage from that happens simultaneously. I've actually beat UGs from mid range that I would have lost using any other HC.
I've been using a Pleiades Corrector with the Knucklehead Radar and functionally its a MIDA That I don't have to give up an exotic weapon slot for. Thinking of playing around with a linear fusion for my heavy, I've just been using a borealis there that more or less gives me free kills

edit: my 101st quickplay was a JIP supremacy (natch), the only saving grace was that at the conclusion of the match the game saw fit to me both a legendary AND exotic engram. They decrypted to shards and materials.

Bungie, can we talk? I appreciate that you think so highly of me that you gave me a legendary quest, and one to do the raid and everything. Really, means a lot. However, making it take a weapon slot and not being able to store it means that either I discard it, since I will probably never see the raid (most likely) or that it just sits there making sure I'm down a weapon in that slot for however long it takes. The hell, didn't you figure that out last game?
