Holy shit, actually one of the items I desired as an upgrade for my Hydra team. I don't give a shit about Ingus but he'll buy a spot onto my team with that (barring getting Rydia instead and going caster style).
I mean I would have preferred Maria's BSB but that's still finally something good from 100gem for the first time in forever.
Oh shit I just used up my luck and good karma for the free draw didn't I?
Bartz OSB was technically desired but ugh it pays the tax really hard for being multi-element. Cooooould maybe get a different strat going on Liquid Flame now but I suspect I'll just ignore it. Not even good as a stat-stick since it has no element boost and I had enough swords.
Emperor SSB is a Dark booster. Okay sure whatever.
No dupes. Not great, but Cecil's OSB at least combos with the BSB I have for him, and Ingus's sword boosts earth. Locke's is his enfire, which I guess could be useful if I ever get some other stuff for him, maybe.
Also phase 1 pull, 2/11: 2x Luneth USB.
Also not exciting, but I have his OSB, so that USB was definitely a thing I wanted.

I held off on doing my 30 draw since when JP got it there were a bunch of errors right away, but I didn't expect the servers to collapse. Oh well. I could put off doing the 30 draw, but I have stamina to burn!
Well, I guess getting Shelke's BSB locks me in to Shelke in the Vitality/Bravery box once her dive comes out. Her dive is super useful for the entrust wrath wrath entrust, and then i can use her BSB after that to help for the end of the fight.

No, the USB is supposed to power his BSB CMD1. It's supposed to let you actually usefully stack the stupid thing up to crazy power. 4.16/8 at max stack and then apply aura.

No, the USB is supposed to power his BSB CMD1. It's supposed to let you actually usefully stack the stupid thing up to crazy power. 4.16/8 at max stack and then apply aura.
When they release a new FF2 Torment, I'll let you know how that works out.
Seriously. It's like 4 bars and 14 turns of setup just to get to nigh-insta cast damage on par with 6* abilities, and you need to spend two more bars just to keep the damn thing going.

All the EX modes seem to be designed to be used with the character's BSB, or another powerful soul break tool. Firion's just seems to be more blatant.
And the increased speed probably makes BSB command 1 more useful, especially since it already advocates spamming it.
