So many of you know that my girlfriend and I broke up about a month ago. Well, we've come to pretty good terms with the whole thing, so lately we've been hanging out a lot. Well we've been going to the bar and watching movies together and things of this nature. Well last night we were hanging out at the bar and as it closed I walked outside because I thought she had left already. Well I noticed her standing half a block away or so, on the corner of the street. She didn't seem to be going anywhere so I said by to some guys and talked to this one guy I had just met that night a little bit about guitar playing and what not.
Well as I walked over there I noticed that it looked like she was crying. I asked her what was wrong and she looked up to reveal nail scratches all over the left side of her face, some of which were bleeding and dangerously close to her eye. She explained to be that her and one of our friends had gotten into a fight with some crazy bitches because our friend wouldn't go home with one of them. Apparently her and this bitch had made out before or something, but she has a boyfriend now so this bitch got all pissed that she was getting denied and kept trying to start something. Anyway, long story short, my ex pulled them apart and broke the whole thing up, but got some nasty scratches in the process. Apparently our friend's boyfriend had shown up too, and dragged her away. She asked if she could borrow my phone to call her boyfriend to make sure they were okay. "Sure" I said and pulled my phone out of my pocket. After opening it and staring blankly at it for a while she said "Wait, your phone's weird, what do I press to get to your contacts?" So I leaned in close, pointed at the phone and said "Baby let me show you how to do dis you've gotta move this, you're doing fine, theres nothing to it you gotta move this come on and move this shake that body for...People dont you know? Can you feel the mellow crawling fast? Drum, oh baby, rhythms blast, pump it pump it pump it up bet you cant make this once stop. You've gotta move this, you've gotta move this. Shake that body ah shake that body cool. People dont...Pump It taken, fingers snappin hands club and mamas rappin. Actually yes, this entire story is 100% true. Even the part about me singing Move This to her.
I kept singing the whole song while she called our friends, trying not to laugh as I danced around her like a jackass, singing Technotronic in the middle of the street. Then we got Ben and Jerrys and went back to her house and watched Buffy (her favorite show), until we fell asleep. Later after discussing the event, we decided that me telling that story would make a good "bel-air" type experience.
