Speaking of meta weapons, I'm STILL not used to getting hosed down by autorifles from pulse rifle ranges, and I'm ESPECIALLY not used to getting flinched to high hell from some bloke spraying Uriel's Gift at me from fucking Uzbekistan.
I felt like all the maps were decent except emperor's respite which is hilariously imbalanced. I don't like how many times I embarassingly fell to my death off the edge of the world in Vostok.
I despise both of those maps, but Emperor's Respite enrages me so badly in Control. Grab A and B, sit. Do nothing. Moving is irresponsible. Keep them from forcing a respawn at C and hold those points.
I know most control maps have favored flags, but that one is really bad.

@Vorpal — I was talking about this a bit last night, but I think a lot of folks (perhaps yourself included) were experiencing a taste of that sweet sweet Skill-Based Matchmaking, which meant that you were more likely to be confronted with players at or above your skill-level. In combination with the increase in latency that SBMM seemingly brought to Iron Banner (as @Fawst will attest), winning gunfights was much more difficult.
Yeah in solo, my blues will literally run right by available Power ammo
I'm like, ok, sure thank you I will take that
Generally I won't take power ammo unless we're really behind. I figure it would be better served to prop the other persons up depending on the score. I really only need to use my scouts.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
When the UK/Irish folks play it becomes a very polite "No, sir you take the power ammo" "No, I insist, after you" dynamic, until we all die to a rocket.
That sounds more like a Canadian standoff. I would have assumed the UK folks would queue up and politely hand over acquisition forms to the ammo vendorbot.
Edit: Obviously while doing silly walks. Until Bungie took them away. The monsters.
I've seen videos of dudes getting shoulder charged out of the way by their own team mates for power ammo. While funny, definitely a dick move.
If you steal power ammo from a teammate who clearly got there first, regardless of whether you're way better with it than him, you are a Bad Person.
Not quite Hitler bad, but at least like, Woody Allen bad.
Tell my something I don't know about myself.
I already told my story, I don't regret what I did.

You should always take it if just to deny it from the enemy... also use it?

I've considered Hunter my main since D1 beta. According to Destiny Status, I have ~94 hours of active time on my Hunter in D2. I still have neither Nighthawk nor Orpheus Rig. I have Raiden Flux because it was the best option of the "here's your free exotic while leveling" so I could be an effective Arcstrider, but I really hate being in melee so I don't like the subclass/super.
So I can either be effective playing a subclass I dislike, or I can be less effective playing the two subclasses I love. I feel like half a Hunter.
At this point, I'm just praying that Xur sells those exotics because RNGesus isn't helping me out.
As an aside, Foetracer is decent as an all-around-okay exotic in PvE. You learn these sorts of things when you can't wear the exotics you really want.

Didn't think I needed to flesh that one out...
Generally I won't take power ammo (with another player nearby) unless we're really behind. I yield it to them. If they do not take it, yes I will take it.

On a brighter note, when you do finally land one, you'll be able to experience the sweet sweet sweet sweet feeling of neverending tethers during public events. IT IS SO SWEET.
Orpheus Rig is pretty hilarious during public events when all the adds come in. With the right spec, it basically refills the super as soon as you use it. My problem with it is that I totally suck at aiming that stupid bow.

It's really good bait to use on the enemy team.
But that only works if you're playing in a 4-stack and can communicate the plan to your fireteam.

We played a trials match last night. Our second as a group.
The enemy team went 6-0 and we did not get a single kill. All four had MIDAs and if we went around any corner they were all crouched and it was instant death.
The "Flawless" message popped up so good for those pro players.
Dragons Shadow is the last of the hunter exotics that I'm missing (edit: aside from Nighthawk and Rig, I mean). I don't even know what it does. =P
It makes your Weapon Handling and Reload damn near heroic for 10 seconds after dodging. Pairs really well with Nightstalker's invis on Dodge. Pretty much the best kit for PVP.

Oh damn, that sounds great.
Not entirely sure I could ever give up Knucklehead Radar in PVP, though, but that's tempting.

Yeah, Dragon's Shadow is the best PvP exotic for stalkers, bar none. It is quite silly how well it pairs with Antiope/Sondok-C, you dodge right before an engagement, let invis give you the first shot advantage, reload in jiffy to proc kill clip and just burn down everyone nearby.

Yeeeah, about last night: sorry for my near-constant bitching. I am fully (embarrassingly) aware of how often I do it when I get really frustrated. I've been trying to keep it reigned in. IB last night was just the absolute worst as far as the latency issues went, so the field where I grow fucks-to-give was barren. So to anyone I've PvP'd with in the past and in the future, belated and preemptive apologies! I'm going to really put in an effort to just comment on it to let anyone know to watch out for Player X who is skipping around, and turn off the running commentary. I've been worried that I may have a reputation for it, and want to squash that if it's the case!

there was a hunter on the other team a few days ago that kept seeming to literally just appear out of nowhere and kill two or three of us at once
i wonder if this is why
like i can spot the invis decently enough, not always of course

don't need knucklehead radar if you're using MIDA
*taps temple*
why not both girl dot gif
To be fair, knucklehead gives you radar when you're using your Uriel's or Sins of the Past.
some of them? crucible/nightfall can definitely drop armor. it seems like definitely trials and possibly the raid one are only guns though
Clip through almost every one of your cloaks and not match any of your boots... well, they kind of match the IB boots.
Trial/Raid ones are just weapons. nightfall/crucible can have armor.
Can't connect to the game. Get a disconnect error every time I select a character. No error code. Guess I'll play something else.
