awesome! I did not see the key joke coming /GJ

Am I the only person that thinks that Katie has changed the story as it's been written?

When Neiman swallows the key (http://campcomic.com/comic/455) it really does look like he locked the door with it...

Nope. I had that joke from the very beginning.

Which is why Katie never drew the key going into the keyhole.

Like all great magicians, it’s all about misdirection.

The real continuity error is that Neiman would never eat a key that color: http://campcomic.com/comic/supply-delivery-1

Was this entire story arc primarily meant to give us a new Malachi haircut, or Malacut as they will fornever be called?

Panel 5 made me lol so hard!

Also, the key from that strip wasn't the type of key that would fit that lock. That's clearly a pin tumber lock key, and a lever tumbler lock.

Not that I noticed at the time. Very clever!

Malachi's eyelid layer is over his nose layer.
He is a bit of a brown noser.

    And Bad-haircut Malachi triumphantly returns!

I actually like the new haircut.

I’m sad. I went back to see if the key Neiman ate was the same key that Tanner had on his kite, but it’s not the same one.

However, now I think there was a supply drop of useless keys at some point and that’s how Neiman has kept his weight up.

It was supposed to be but someone forgot to do that when she, er, someone drew the comic.

It sounds like someone didn’t leave someone detailed notes so that he or she would know it was a callback. 8-)

Malachi's hair is now both the same color and haircut as Zoro's. He's face is positively Luffy-ish, though.

Huh. Neiman's pretty good at cutting hair.

You can call me Dances with Wolves.

Years ago my niece attempted to cut her own hair with a knife after watching Mulan. She wasn't as good at it as Neiman. It was awesome.

One could be excused for thinking the entire point of this interlude was to give Malachi his long-desired haircut.

I'm still bothered by the Neiman-box in the corner. There's more that goes on in this office besides Malachi-worship.

And the presence of the cat inside implies there's another way in and out of this half-buried edifice. And what happened to the files presumably in it? Or is the whole thing, like Neiman, a scrim for a darker reality we are not going to really know?

ARRRGH. This is worse than one-two-three mouse!

  • poipoigirlpoipoigirl Registered User regular
lol told you he wanted Malachi's hair

  • briguybriguy Registered User regular
    OK
But I have still more questions about Neiman:
    Why the peeing?
    http://campcomic.com/comic/wet

Does Neiman still want an apology?
    http://campcomic.com/comic/tiny-dancer

    The mystery continues.

Now that is probably the funniest strip this webcomic has had. Bravo

@Briguy 1. to mark his territory, I guess. 2. Nope.

Now I have a question. Where’s Rick Springfield?

  • hajenhajen Registered User regular
I believe the answer to all your questions, or at least this one :

    No.
Rick Springfield is an international treasure and I refuse to believe in a world so dark without him.

Is it just me, or did Neiman's LIX index just increase like fireworksales in December, in the last panel with him?

    UCH.

I really feel for Neiman here, as someone who finds it hard to make friends and often comes off as weird when he tries (though I'm PRETTY sure collecting data on people's smells ain't cool). Sure he's practically the definition of a creepy obsessed stalker, but the poor guy's harmless.
