That's actually vaguely tempting if not for the fact that there's nothing here I really -need-. I'd like Yda's stuff but mechanically a lot of it is iffy. Y'shtola's USB is hot garbage outside of being a stat stick. Minfilia's BSB is so-so and while I wanted her USB a lot at the time, I probably wouldn't use it over Rikku USB (though I guess it gives me options for Entrusting afterwards instead of how Rikku is not that useful on most Magicites).

I have 15 keystones, 1 in the box, and probably another ten in mission rewards. If I don't do them before the 28th then it costs double the stamina, but I hate this game for taking time away from real games. It would be different if there were one I could run easily. I know people hate the easy event stages, but too many hard S/L fest stages at once makes the game miserable for me. I don't mind back and forth in the fight, but I hate how this game is just fail the fight and restart.
I'm gonna miss the renewal events when they're gone.
Specifically, the FFV Scouring the Depths event.
Twintania is just such a good enemy for testing teams; he's just a supremely strong beatstick that doesn't require specialized tricks, unless you're exploiting his Water or Holy weakness.

Yeah, trying to get through my keystones before the half stamina goes away and I'm reminded why I kinda dropped off doing these before. Some of them I can sleepwalk through, but others, it's just "well, here's 3 savage attacks in a row, who cares you've got two healers, everyone's dead" and it's just....WHELP.
Sure you don't lose stamina, but you do lose time.

Hell, I'm up to 20+ in a row with vendor trash for 100-gem pulls. Ever since the Prompto/Aranea event it's been nothing but 3* and 4* disappointment.
Burned some mythril tonight on refreshes to clear out Bra*Bra and also got the remainder of the II event squared away aside from the 220 Apocalypse one. Which is fine, since that's just crystals and Rosetta Stone, which I'll be able to farm up soon enough and I can get Rosetta Stones elsewhere too.
New FF2 event happening in Japan. USBs for Maria, Guy, Minwu, and Josef. BSB2s for Emperor and Minwu.
Minwu appears to be doubling down on the idea of being an offensive White Mage: his USB2 has no healing capability whatsoever (10 Holy white hits, Mind boost, WHM boost, and White Magic Double status), and his BSB2 leads with damage, gives him Enholy, and has a 4-hit white magic holy attack command.
But check out Maria's USB:
10xST Earth/Non-ele magic dmg, EnEarth, self MAG/DEF +30% and Black Magic Ability Double.
I am imagining Maria using her USB, then her BSB, and dualcasting Hexabreaks until she runs out of steam or the enemy just keels over.

Speaking of Maria, I still don't understand why her BSB is just so much better than all the other mages in that style. I mean sure there's not that much that's Earth weak but everyone else's is deficient in some way comparatively, either taking more MAG to scale or just being bizarrely weaker as in the case of Rinoa's BSB2 (lower potency and less hits, it's nonsensical).

They are really bad at balance. Tg cid osb and cloud USB are other examples.
I find rating systems to be a bit objective and biased, but that's just my opinion. Of course, someone on Reddit was going to take stock in Altema like it's a revered site of value and translated their ratings over for Global. It does include new characters in the next 6 months as well, but if you just wanted a quick bird's eye view of your favourite characters and how they stack up based on one person's opinion, feel free to look at this thread:
For what it's worth, Tyro is of course #1 for his utility and his eventual USB3, with Onion Knight sharing in his tier space thanks to his two USBs that we'll get in about 2.5-3 months. Gau is in his own tier all by himself, with the Cores being below him in the "why'd you even level them past 1" tier.
The good: It's known that Final Fantasy X banner 1 will be around while FFIV banners will still be up. The goal is to pull all the Tidus stuff in 1 shot, and then pull all the Swolbez and Rydia stuff in 1 shot... and then give heavy consideration to only pulling Ceodore's and Kain's USBs on banner 1.
I mean, it's totally doable you guys. I just have to believe in me who believes in me.
EDIT: I forgot the bad.
The bad: I have this same dilemma with FFVI and FFIII. As long as the events don't get rearranged, I can pull for OK's USBs, get them, then see where my hoard is at for Banner 1 of VI for Terra and Locke. And then wait for the next week to pull for Rem and Deuce stuff on Type-0. Or I may just pull for Deuce with the Type-0 renewal banner and give up on Rem, buuuut... grr. Not enough mythril for all these good banners.

Yeah, I couldn't have beaten that fight without the Astra from Unicorn, plus sleep resist on everyone. Its such an annoying fight.

You can't avoid a sleep without crazy DPS, but the first one has low chance. You just really need to blow them up.

Do you mean subjective and biased or objective and unbiased?
I think most tier lists are questionable or at least have big flaws that you might not catch on first blush.
I looked at the list and there are some standouts that are like 'you should not be this low' due to what I suspect is unfamiliarity with their tricks. Doesn't help that the guy is just using Altema as a holy bible and saying "I don't need to explain or give more detail here :smug:"
Also probably a methodology issue--characters rated high if you have all their relics (and can somehow get meter to power them) vs being worthless if you are missing a piece. (Also seriously who the hell is actually using Penelol? Yeah her BSB2 is a bit better but she still has meter issues and her dive is iffy.)

Same. There's a lot that could be added, both in relics for Lann and Reynn, new characters for WOFF, and other games even. I'd love to see Bravely, Mana, Chrono, or even 4 Heroes of Light represented.

If WoFF was going to get any more love, it would be right now. It was released a year to the day yesterday in North America. It's one year anniversary in Japan is tomorrow, and the 28th for Europe. If the next JP data drop doesn't include something for it, I wouldn't be surprised, nor would I expect to see or hear anything else about it ever again. There are still a bunch of sequels to milk for new dungeon content.
