It might be questionable if you have a part of the video that says "Watch my stream" in the beginning, but even if it just has your gaming symbol in the corner or something, I think you will be ok.

The rules are pretty explicit about long time members not being the excepted from the rule against posting your own stuff, but the spirit of the rule, if not the letter, is that you can post whatever.

I mean, people been posting their game play videos on this thread before so I don't think it would be a issue unless you are actively promoting your Twitch/YouTube/Pornhub channel.

It's at the point where if I see a player with a Chinese name, I assume they're a hacker or a cheater or whatever, I just assume the worst of them. Whether or not they are hacking. QQ, a random string of numbers, whatever. They're all the same.

Just saw a horde of Chinese teamers, maybe 20 or so players running in a mob late game? We were up on a hill and could see them all running in the open. Shot a few of them, got shot by a few of them, and we kept rezing each other to get the name of another person when we inevitably got knocked back down, but my Shadowplay currently has a red line through it so I have no footage.

I love Shadowplay, but I hate the GeForce Experience with a passion. When there's an update, it stops shadowplay from working to force me to upgrade, when I upgrade, it usually bluescreens my PC and a bug causes Shadowplay to stop working anyway. If Shadowplay wasn't so good it wouldn't be worth it. But Shadowplay is only good when it works.

edit- Another big swarm of Chinese teamers again. This time they were naked. So we ditched our clothes while in the plane and landed in millbase. The next 10 minutes were great, 1) they thought we were friendly, while I don't speak the language, I'm pretty sure I heard them saying "we're on your side!" and 2) Chinese players are awful shots. Which is probably why you either see them hacking or teaming to make up for it.

In the end we died to a real team, so I felt pretty good about that round.

As far as I'm concerned, it's 100% Bluehole's fault that the game is infested with hackers and cheaters. They put in a monetised crate system in beta (when they said they wouldn't) without having the anti-cheat systems that they needed (and the anti-cheat systems they've added after they introduced crates do nothing).

Something proposed by some players is locking players to servers near their area. There's no reason for a team of Chinese players to be playing SA etc. It'd be easy to put in exceptions, they could do it "so long as at least one player is from X region, the whole team can play on it." This would help reduce the amount of Chinese hackers/teamers and it would also reduce the amount of ping kills.

If you're using Windows 10, you could always try out GameDVR. When Shadowplay/GFE goes tits up, I tend to record with GameDVR.

    Yes.

... is best known as the former location of the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School (NFWS), its TOPGUN training program and the movie of the same name.

Some screenshots from my first round on the test server. The new van is fun. Didn't really get a chance to shoot anyone with my new guns. The lack of a sight on the Winchester is kind of a bigger drawback than I thought it would be. I really don't like using guns without some sort of optic :<

The Win97 is very fun. The double barrel shotgun has very wide spread (didn't use it on a player). Lots of 45 ammo and guns. Vectors are common spawns, as are Tommy Guns and Pump/Double Barrel shotguns. Backpacks seem to be less common. I had a very hard time finding a backpack.

I don't like how quiet the vehicles and plane are.

Overall, fun to explore, but I prefer the original map. This one feels... more... videogamey? I think it mostly comes down to the lighting. Oh, and climbing the rocky hills gave me flashbacks to Half Life 1. There's a few areas with low textures, but I assume that's so that people can download the test quickly. I think the proper release will have higher quality textures.

I'm definitely preferring the new map so far. All the hills are amazing, the new buildings feel great, the FPS is miles better. You can really feel the difference in quality with the custom assets.

Watching BreaK on the test server and I realize you can heal while a passenger in a moving vehicle now /praisebe

Edit: lol the new map has VW Buses as vehicles in addition to pickup trucks and buggies. And there's a winchester lever-action rifle in .45 that holds 8 rounds and accepts zero attachments

I thought you could heal/get juiced/reload as a passenger in vehicles on live?

Edit: you could always reload, but anything that required standing still couldn't be done in a moving car

There's also a new six shot revolver that actually has a breakout wheel and thus reloads with a speedloader

I could easily be mistaken. I remember hearing about it, but it could have been discussed as a planned feature and actually not on live. I could simply load up PuBG and test it, but I'm watching JackFrags play the new map. So far the new map looks cool.

Watching some of the big streamers react to the new map is pretty neat. They seem very positive on it.

Sounded like JackFrags' positivity mostly stems from the better performance (better and more consistent framerates).

There are tons of stuff in the towns so far. Like just huge amounts of objects and corners and ditches.

People who like to hide are going to have a much better time.

Yeah, reports I've been hearing at that the framerate and feel of the game (looting, doors etc) are vastly improved. Whether this is 1.0 or the new map though I'm not sure.

A new map built from the ground up with what they've learned in the last X months iterating on the first map? I can believe it.

Probably a mix of both, but I imagine having custom assets instead of Unreal store assets is a major boon for FPS.

Best part of the new map to me is all the dips and defilades and hills and verticality out in the wild

Despite fewer trees and bushes and grass, the new maps seems to have a lot more cover

I just watched Shroud and his two buddies win a squad game using nothing but the Winchesters. It seems like a usable weapon considering it has no attachments or scopes.

You can adjust the irons, and it has decent irons, so I had fun with it.

edit- the preview image showed a bullet loop for the Win97. I wonder if they're going to add that.

I'd be pretty happy if they condensed the KarBullet Loops, the shotgun bullet loops and the (theoretical) Win97 bullet loops into one. Or maybe just the Kar and Win bullet loops.

Been playing standard and I had my first moment when I wished I was on the test server. I was a passenger and couldn't heal.

But in general I prefer crouch jump to vaulting.
