I have GERD and ho boy does it suck to be SHOCKED awake because you're aspirating vomit in the middle of the night.

Thankfully I have alleviated it with eating better and eating earlier. But there is absolutely no spicy foods after 7pm at night at all.

case in point: current meal portion. i had to wait for the roomates to disappear from sight before they see me dragging it to my room like a hungry lioness carrying prey twice her size.

Girls should ask guys out way more frequently than they do.

Last time I asked a guy out it wasn't a for a date so much as I was going to be in town for a weekend and did he want to join me in my hotel for no-strings-attached sex before I flew back to my home state. A kinda-one night stand but for 2 nights.

We'll have been together for 12 years in January.

This did not go as planned.

From what I've seen when girls make the first move this is almost always the result.

    Ha.

They've mostly stopped carding me for alcohol anymore, so there have been some benefits to losing my youthful good looks!

    Reeses cups are good.
Reeses Minis are bad because they fucked the proportions.
Reeses Miniatures are good because they maintained the appropriate proportions.

One or two Reese's for me per year. And they have to be the holiday kind. They're too disgusting any more frequently than that.

Today I made an important discovery! If you stare at the oo in the word blood for a while it'll start to read as blue-d. Where do I pick up my Nobel prize?

I'm planning on picking up some reading glasses this December.

Hopefully they'll age me up a bit and I won't look sixteen forever.

By the way, I turned 29 this month and have suddenly been going to bed at 8:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Getting 8-9 hours of sleep a night feels really good!

I didn't find time to run back and get it after filling my meds. I would have gotten it right then but I felt kinda sick that day from allergies and wasn't sure if I was coming down with something and didn't want to risk it.

It was a weirdly sudden transition from being called "miss" all the time to "ma'am" within the span of like 1-2 years. I don't feel old until somebody calls me "ma'am". I know people use Ma'am for people 40+ just fine, but it still feels like it's a word for 90 year olds...? Miss feels too young for me now, though. WHAT AM I

    Madamiss?

I use Ms when addressing a woman who I do not know in the workplace. Mr for male of the same.

Only once I get a handle on their preference do I drop the two and go by their names.
