Philadelphia Marathon - Logisitics around Convention Center?
So the Philadelphia Marathon is on Sunday the 19th, and the Half Marathon is Saturday the 18th. Philly locals - how bad is it getting around? What kind of road closures are there around the Convention Center?
Edit: I just saw that there was some info in this thread, which of course didn't come up when I searched for "marathon"
I highly, highly recommend parking at a regional rail SEPTA station or PATCO (from NJ). It'll often be more affordable, and easier if the traffic's an issue.
I don't know how the marathon will impact traffic, as I'm usually walking in the city.
Thanks everyone. I found a lot of those pages too. The place where I'm staying is directly on the marathon route, so I'm just guessing that travel to and from is going to be tough.

about there is a list of restaurants they recommend to attendees and spectators (i'm trying to find a link)
