Ironically, I think Aluneth is probably better in aggressive/tempo decks than control decks. Easier to drop everything you're drawing with a lower curve.
You can use it in a control deck if you also run Medivh. That way you can draw your win condition and then break your own Aluneth before you fatigue. Someone did that to me yesterday.

I assembled Raza/Anduin against The Darkness. Turns out that's even stronger in dungeon run than in standard!
Also, the extra turn treasure with shadow visions is a tiny bit busted.
Seems familiar, right? Yeah... Unfortunately I'm not nearly good enough at Rogue to really get it to come together in any kind of control shell. Pirates tho, they'll fuck you up.
Could probably run Coin over Backstab because I smorc like, a lot. There should also be room for Cheat Death but I can't quite find it, maybe in place of Squidface.
The no minion hunter actually works decently well without the weapon, in my experience noodling around rank 12. The weapon provides more midgame oomph I assume but lots of the time you don’t need it (especially if you run the hero card too.)
hold your head high soldier, it ain't over yet
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
I saw a fun deck that was running DOOM! as the only spell and Spiteful Summoner. He pulled bad 10's but it's a neat idea.
I adjusted my Zoolock deck to include that set. Previously I was running Bloodfury Potion, Mortal Coil, and Soulfire. Cutting Mortal Coil for Kobold Librarians was an easy choice, which then meant if I cut Soulfire and Bloodfury I had 4 spots open for Spitefun Summoner and DOOM!. I think it makes the deck a bit weaker to tempo but if your Spiteful Summoner pulls any sort of decent 10-drop you can get free wins, even easier than if you happen to land a turn 3 Vicious Fledgling that your opponent can't deal with.
I will probably cut the Blood Imps for something else, but I'm not sure what. Malchezaar's Imp probably loses some value too since the only discard is now Doomguard, but a 1/3 for 1 demon is still just nice for consistency.
List looks like this:
### zoo3 boogaloo
# Class: Warlock
# Format: Standard
# Year of the Mammoth
#
# 2x (1) Acherus Veteran
# 2x (1) Blood Imp
# 2x (1) Flame Imp

# 2x (1) Malchezaar's Imp
# 1x (1) Patches the Pirate
# 2x (1) Voidwalker
# 1x (2) Prince Keleseth
# 2x (3) Southsea Captain
# 2x (4) Crystalweaver
# 1x (4) Saronite Chain Gang
# 2x (5) Despicable Dreadlord
# 2x (5) Doomguard

Is the average 10 drop better than the average 8 drop?
I might swap for twisting nether. So many 10 drops are all battle cry.
Taking a quick look, I count 11 eight drops that look like good summon targets, and 15 that look bad. I count 7 ten drops that look good, and 3 that look bad.
My general criteria is that anything 8/8 or better is good, or anything with powerful additional effects to make up for a lower statline (eg. Tirion Fordring). Any power in battlecries is ignored. Effects that Warlock is generally unable to take advantage of (like Geosculptor Yip) are also generally left out. The only real losers in 10-drop land are Kun, N'zoth, and Yogg-Saron; while a lot of 8 drops have poor stat lines or deathrattles that Zoolock just can't really get value out of.
Some of the 8-drops are significantly better than average 10-drop (like Lich King or Tirion), but you have a significantly smaller chance of summoning them.

My current shaman dungeon deck is 5 Cairnes and Kel Thuzad soooo yeah
They should at least add experience for new players to catch up, but honestly I doubt much of their team thinks about new players
Keeping your Whales hooked is easier than getting new players that don't pay that much. Whales are gonna jump in and spend money anyhow. No one cares about the F2P people, at all.

My lock opponent pulled Kun and then N'Zoth. Bonemare'd minions made short work of them.

I had a better than average showing in my 100 packs. I got:
Paladin weapon as a freebie
Paladin legendary lady Lynessa
Zola the Gorgon
Master Oakheart
Golden Rogue legendary lady Sonya
Hunter weapon
Priest weapon
Also got a couple of cool epics like 2x of the Priest dragon switcher guy.
But I haven't really tried playing standard until today because I have been having alot of fun with Dungeon runs wich I didn't think I would. Won 8 with Pirate warrior and the stealth buff!
Threw together Spell Hunter just now and had a good run. Won 5/6, lost to a weapon rogue and beat 5 (!) Spell Hunter mirrors.
Final legends tally from 84-ish packs.
Better count than usual for me, but some iffy looking ones.
Aluneth the Mage weapon
Geosculptor Yip (this looks promising)
Rin the First Disciple (might be fun to toy with but does not seem good)
Temporus (ehhhh)
Golden The Darkness
The Runespear shaman weapon (ehhhhh)
And the warlock weapon as the freebie.

Edit: Apparently DK Rexxar doesn't get beasts from any new expansions, and after the rotation will only get beasts from Un'goro and KFT. LAAAAME.
Edit 2: Sometimes Reddit is full of Wisdom re: Meme Hunter: "Pirate Warrior, Secret Paladin and Patron Warrior were also originally meme decks.

That's a shame. Concern about power creep, or just difficult to code?
Does anyone know how adaptation works with the new pally legendary?
Like, does it adapt what you choose the first time or does it pick a new random one? if it ends up with can't be targeted, does it stop her buff train?
I'm currently 3-4 with deck right now, but it's fun. I think Life Leech is so important that it's worth keeping during the mulligan phase. Haven't gotten the Squidface pirates to work, so I might cut them. We'll see.

Hmm, that's not what I get out of the statement by Mike Donais:
"The challenge was not a coding one. It was combining 2 text boxes into one across 15 languages. A lot of things that work ok in English don't work as well in other languages. When text is written for a card, it has very specific templates and line breaks and spacing to make it fit and look good and some languages actually have very different rules and would surprise you what they have to do.
I will mention it again to the guy who works with the 15 localization teams regardless."
Sounds basically like every time they would add new beasts to him, it would be a giant work effort just for that one card.

10hp on my hero, 5 minions on board, 4 with taunt. He only has a 2/1 on board, no cards in hand.
Next turn on mage, he draws 3 wonder cards in a row. Holy Smite, bane of doom, fireball.
All 3 went face.

*Like at best, people will play to get 10+5x victories, where x=the number of times they get the quest.
They do a good job in their other games, of letting the player progress how they want, you’d think they’d adapt that to HS.
