I'm still getting through the first season of Search Party but I just need someone to mention that John Reynolds is looking the most anyone but Harold Ramis has looked like Egon Spengler

“His office was in a secluded space, and he had a button under his desk that allowed him to lock his door from the inside without getting up. This afforded him the assurance of privacy. It allowed him to welcome female employees and initiate inappropriate contact while knowing nobody could walk in on him, according to two women who were sexually harassed by Lauer.”

How did he get approval to have that put in
I can't even get a standing desk

If I had to guess, the conversation included "What if someone tries to attack me in my office?"
Like, that's a serious guess. TV stations take that kind of thing pretty seriously due to stuff like Dan Rather getting mugged by a crazy guy.

Nah, "I need to be able to lock the door the minute I hear gunfire," but your version is way cooler, I concede.

Okay but how does a standing desk help you with that?

You stand on it to make yourself seem taller and therefore more intimidating.

Oh, that's easy. He won't get an advantage by catching you outside a fighting stance.

Any time more than one person is in my office the door locks automatically and does not unlock until one of the occupants is dead

Whilst yes, that is sad news, I'm not sure I'd actually want to watch a 2017 Wipe.
The 2016 Wipe was depressing and terrifying enough, I don't even want to know how badly I would wish I were dead after watching a 2017 Wipe.
Watching the results of that unfold in Season 2 has been a lot better.
Also, Runaways is pretty good???
That was a bit of a shocker.
He was suspended pending investigation earlier in this whole thing
I guess it's not deffo sexual harassment just "inappropriate conduct" which could be anything really.
edit: well hell now that;s changed too: "he made inappropriate sexual contact with a subordinate."
Incoming stories from the Times and Variety about said serious shit, it seems.
FINALLY
that man is one of the biggest shitheads i've ever met
god what an asshole
I saw someone on twitter respond to this by saying "must not have been him who told it then"
which is definitely one of the sickest burns I've seen in a while

We don't have a harassment one right now. Previous one was closed.
For attribution and because Bois is great in general and people should know about him

yes!
for the record I didn't attribute because I honestly couldn't remember who said it and I did spend a few minutes searching twitter to figure it out
jon bois is great
Yeah no worries, I figured as much. I wouldn't have known myself if I hadn't happened to have just seen it linked elsewhere.
