The moment at 1:50 where you deflect Hit's super was hype!
BTW, have you asked around in the Discord? There are plenty of people willing to give advice and run practice sets with you.
I'm not familiar with Discord. I play this on PS4 though I'm primarily a PC gamer. What's the logistics for this?
EDIT - That reflect was a happy accident
Discord is the current gen chat / voice / video program, largely aimed at gamers. I actually like it way better than the alternatives, and it's where a lot of fighting game discussion happens now. Not just here, but even the pros use it. Discord makes an embedded web client as well as desktop and mobile.

Love Heart, of pachinko fame(?), is also coming to SNK Heroines. A bit of a ho-hum addition. I was really hoping for more classic SNK ladies. But at least she has a mustache now.
Is anyone getting the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection? It's a just a few days away. As a reminder, you can get a copy of Ultra SF4 if you preorder the collection on PS4/XBone.

Yep, getting it on the Switch. Looking forward to playing ST online for the millionth time. I may dabble in Hyper Fighting as well.

I love Alpha 3 as a competitive game, but for style and story, Alpha 2 is king.
The one thing I definitely like more in Alpha 2 are the backgrounds, I think that one's a no-contest in SFA2's favour. Some of the music is quite great, too.
But everything else I like more in SFA3. I like the UI and presentation more with its energetic sound effects and announcer, the variety of playstyles from the ISMs, the SUPER AWESOME X-ism super flash and guard crush effect... I just like SFA3 a lot more, even if it's arguably a more busted game.
So, a buddy and I were both in a lobby. We both want to play Street Fighter. So far so good.
I hit ready, and he has 8 seconds to ready up, or else the match won't start. But once I hit ready, his "ready" button changes to "unready." And when he presses this button, I unready.
So he hits ready. Same thing happens. My ready button (X by default on PS4) changes to un-ready. And the only thing I can do is either view his profile, un-ready him, or wait for the timer to run out.
In brief, it's only possible for one player to ready up at a time. It's a "Did LITERALLY ANYONE test this?" kind of problem.

Went 8-2 in Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo with Chun-Li today. Mostly against Ken and Guile. One guy played me 4 times before getting a win. Didn’t offer a rematch after his win. LOL scrub.
Maybe I’ll stream some of my sad skills on Twitch.

SFA2 also has great story mode battles. Instead of All Bison All The Time, each character fights someone specific to their plot. Sakura fights Ryu, Ryu fights Akuma, Charlie fights Bison, Dan fights Sagat, etc.

Yeah but Dan and Blanka destroy the Shadowloo base by rolling around in it!
Actually I find it kind of entertaining how every character blows up Bison/Shadowloo in some different way: Karin calls a family ion cannon, Nash pilots a fighter jet, Cody does a Final Fight infinite on it....
The Sagat/Ryu fight in the lightning stage is A+ in terms of cool and D- in terms of stages to actually play other people in because you can't see the low pokes haha
i almost bought the 30th anniversary thing just to play some super turbo, but i woulda had to buy one of those adapters for my stick and that was a bridge too far. im kinda glad i didnt now.

I miss our dee jay mirrors!
And yeah lobbies are hit or miss. For whatever reason I couldnt play rex and another guy in the same lobby last night but could play them just fine alone. Netcode is great and worth the hassle imo.

Jasconius started the PA Fighters Discord
Edit: I especially like Discord, because I can just use that every time instead of switching for console or PC.
That's a strong defense.

The way the match ended felt like GO1 asserting that you STILL haven't seen his true power.
Must have prepared the strategies and counter-strategies already.

You also can't map 3P and 3K to a button, which sucks for pad players.
And by default, the start button is mapped to the touch pad, which sucks for some stick players. (It can be re-mapped, though.)
But beyond these small problems, collection seems great!
... why in the holy hell would you map start to the touch pad Capcom?
